Today didn't just "suck", it was the absolute embodiment of what is going on at our club at the moment, and the worst thing is we could all see it coming before the game even started.

Individual errors, poor tactics and lack of heart have cost us all season. The football is shit, the results are worse. I can't even be bothered to look back at the last 10-12 fixtures to see how many of those we have been 2-0 down in at some stage.

It's fucking embarrassing and something needs to change. If that's Conte then I'm OK with that, because as it is we're not getting any better before we get worse.
That exactly the reaction Levy wants from fans.... Blame Conte....! Every thing else I agree with... I'm not sure I even want Levy out completely, just want him to be the chairman he keeps claiming he is. Start backing this manager and every other manger he appoints. These shitty players are too safe with chairman in charge.

Still doesn't take account of the fact that our goals conceded are bottom half of table while we sit 5th and 3rd top scorers
We're also in the top five best in the league for chances conceded. Essentially we have a system that works but without the players to carry it out. Lloris alone has made four errors directly leading to goals, Dier isn't far off that himself... of our back six the only one you can trust defensively is Romero, that just simply isn't good enough.

I've been 'realising' Tottenham for 40 years chum. Trust me I'm well aware of the failings of the players. But the coach is falling too. When things go disastrously wrong, it's always more than one thing. The coach, the players, the recruitment, the academy, the chairman, the board...everything's wrong and everyone's to blame.
Unless he's turning down options or saying to Paratici that he's happy with his defence (which he isn't), you can't judge a coach with a mid table back 6 bar 2/12 players in Perisic and Romero. You could have Jose, Poch, Simeone, Klopp, Pep and it would be the same result, silly goals conceded at inconvenient times whether you play a high line or park the bus.

If Dier did what Romero does he would get grief on here...
Romero great for Argentina
Not seen it in our colours yet.
I can’t agree. He’s proactive and is a huge presence

The difference today down our left & right flanks was like night and day. A lot of that is down to Romero

Head & shoulders our best defender - Sure he dives in sometimes but the good massively outweighs the bad

Cannot compare him and Dier

In-between all the crap, we gotta remember the bitter truth.

We shouldn't be surprised by today's result, it's been coming. We've not been performing well, the team is out of balance.

Arsenal are at their peak after years of progress.

We're just unlucky to have been riding a wave of shit for a long time.

However, there are spots of light here and there. There are players to work with - the foundation (key word) is almost there. It's unfortunate that our Captain has to go out like this. It's both a part of the problem and a symptom of it.

Let's keep backing Conte. There's a chance we might surf clear of the shit wave then.

did you watch last season. Geez he's not dele. He needs time on the bench to get his mojo back. richy back hopefully allows him to be dropped/ rested
should have been hauled off for sure.. he's been pants this yr
Yeah he wonderful last season, but Dele was great the season before it all started to decline, just got to hope Son will turn a corner and undoubtedly needs time on the line, he looks devoid of confidence and its obvious in his play. His work rate in helping out the wing back has dropped off too.

2 teams have scored more goals than Spurs this year.

Today sucked, and we were outclassed. But knee-jerk reactions are not how to move forward.
It’s not knee jerk , we’ve had 3.5 years of turgid shite and it’s got us fuck all..

We supposedly have a DNA for attractive, entertaining football, so why do we persist in appointing managers who are the complete polar opposite to this.

But some got to hold more responsibility than others, some have been around a little over a year, while the chairman and board have been around for too long, so have many of our average players.

Dier I don't rate..
Considering I do rate Romero, I expect alot more from him.
Erratic, always looks like he's going to get sent off, hardly a calming influence on the others, distribution not great, defending ok not great, generally just ok.
Expect so much more from him.

There's very few things I find more frustrating on this forum than the inability to for people to realise that things are not black and white, you don't have to be one or the other, you can see nuance. Conte has a huge amount of responsibility on his shoulders today, as do the things you mentioned.

Conte doesn’t need £200m for players, he needs to get his team to actually play from minute one. Yes we’ve clearly got crap in the team, but elite managers are supposed to be doing better with what they have then he currently is.

Seems to be bit of an over exaggeration in here imo.
Arsenal are top of the league and flying for a reason.
A huge mistake cost us as usual but before that they weren’t creating much bar once chance due to another Lloris mistake.
yes they dominated midfield as we knew they would, yes maybe we should go 3 5 2 but as we saw against United if you have the wrong wing backs you just can’t get out.
We created chances today and had enough chances to draw or even win if you cut out that Lloris mistake.
I get its arsenal but it really wasn’t that bad I was actually expecting a lot worse and expecting us not to create as many as we did.
Son last season scores 2 and if ye scored that goal straight after we conceded it’s a different game.
Kulu wasn’t his usual self but did cause problems and on another day ye creates a couple.
we clearly still have big issues, son needs dropping, hojberg isn’t a starter, our wing backs we know just aren’t good enough and Lloris is finished.
Keep investing and building and get the right quality in to keep moving forward.
Take some positives, for city we might have a fully fit squad so let’s just focus on that and finally being able to use our squad.
I want to see Benta and sarr start together o think it’ll be a great midfield personally.
Let’s get porro in, then Udogie next season and already that’s a huge improvement
