Arsenal didn't win that, we lost that.

I want Conte to succeed but my opinion of him dramatically dropped today. We're 2-0 down vs our rivals who are strolling to the league title and not only do you not have us overloading them but you don't make a sub until the 70th minute. You're going to tell he doesn't have the players available to make subs; whilst Sessegnon wasted attack after attack first half and we have Persisic sitting on the bench, we're not going to make that change until the 75th minute. It feels like a team of a manager who has lost interest.

I do not understand why we start halves, with a good intensity, good moves and then we go absolutely flat. It is criminal how flat our team just was, for large periods of that game. Our rivals are walking the league, I would snap every fucking ligament, tendon, sinew in my body to stop them getting points at our home ground on their title charge. We looked like we didn't care at all. Arsenal were clearly anxious, we were able to get at their keeper, why in the hell were we not relentless? No excuse can be had for a manager not demanding it and players not producing it.

Other than Sarr and to an extent Kulusevki and Hojbjerg, everybody should be ashamed of their participation in today. I have no idea what is wrong at Spurs at the moment but that was a terrible attitude.

I can't see a time where Spurs can win the league or a big trophy. Even under Poch we were never the pace setters like this, we always had to play catch up to the leaders, as good as we were.

Grim stuff. Can't see the direction in any aspect any longer.

How the fuck is Harry Kane going to end his career with us without a trophy?

Always we have to watch our rivala have their day but we never seen to have ours.
Don't worry about that. There's zero chance he's signing a new contract. He'll be off to somewhere where he can win a few pots and medals before retiring. I don't think he'll go to an English club. He'll go abroad. Somewhere he's near enough guaranteed to win. Germany (Bayern) or France (PSG) probably.

First half Spurs is fighting off relegation, second half Spurs is challenging for the title. Combine and it's meh in the middle somewhere.

As much as I want to blame Conte for the state of things, and he gets some of that for tactics, it's quite clear despite summer business he never got most of the players he actually wanted. The players he wanted that we went and got have done well, Kulu, Bentancur and Perisic. Clear to me at least Spence, Richarlison and Bissouma weren't players he wanted as he rarely plays them. They were board signings, likely cheaper alternatives of a similar type to what he asked for.

When Arteta wanted Jesus and Zinchenko, Arsenal went and got them. They didn't go for bargain Zinchenko or Jesus. He wanted Ramsdale, they got him Ramsdale. Ten Hag wanted Antony and Martinez, they get him those players, not bargain version Antony etc. Our board won't do that.

This has been the recurring issue through numerous coaches now tbh, with the board going on mini splurges whenever the pressure builds but it's clear that the coaches just do not want or fancy the individual players the board buys.

Yet when it all goes to pot inevitably we're always distracted by it being the coach. A number of coaches have expressed the same frustrations now and whilst none are blameless for performances we can't just keep blaming the coaches anymore.

Maybe there’s a reason they’re at the top of the league and we aren’t

I feel like the second half is being massively overstated, we were good for about 10 minutes off it. Went flat for about 20 minutes and then mustered a couple of chances in the remaining 15.

Just for clarification - Richi has played when healthy. Probably should have played for Son, and hopefully will in the near future - but, he is not the same as Spence and Bissouma.

0-0 against the coming champions though

Don’t know where we are going.

there is zero fight left in this team and it is probably because Conte refuses to commit to the club.
