The crowd does turn quickly and it really doesn't help, but sitting watching your team petrified on the edge of our box doesn't help either! Then when we do get the ball we can't keep it!

The team should give the crowd something to shout about, a tackle, a bit of skill, some closing down, then the crowd will lift them when it gets a bit tough!
Getting on their backs when they're on the backfoot really isn't helpful is it? Especially when it's first half and there's so much time left to get something. Players and fans have to work together. Players get the crowd up by doing something, but then the crowd have to support the team and make it a hostile atmosphere for the opposition. The audible groans and frustration tell the away side it'll be an easy ride for 90 minutes.

I'm always seen some say that if you don't sing you're a terrible match going fan. Well if you're not singing and you're instead moaning for 90 minutes then that's surely worse?

FFS you've gone and done it now.

Once this phrase is uttered about any decent team we face, you can guarantee that means we'll lose, and they'll be an almighty meltdown on here because Liverpool (a team who recently beat Man City) were "there for the taking".
Sorry ??

Putting my name forward for Sunday seeing as we'll have nobody available...

We need to beat them on Sunday, failed to get a win against LFC for far too long. They look vulnerable now, victory against Liverpool would be a big morale boost before the World Cup break.

Dear Spurs, please dont mess it up.

Trouble is, with Sons injury, we really are going to be lacking a threat upfront. No one who can run in behind. Not that Son has been doing that much this season but against someone like Liverpool, the space would have been there.

Either way, both teams look a bit out of form lately, got to hope we can get a win against them, its overdue.

The crowd will respond if we start fast. It sets the tone.

If we sit off and start slowly and they grow into it the atmosphere will be more subdued.

Surely Conte understands this
I doubt it...does anyone ?

Do they look more vulnerable than us?

As usual, I'm pretty worried about the first 45 minutes

If Son won’t be able to play we will probably go 352 with Kane and Perisic up front.

What id like us to do is go full throttle at them from the start but that wont happen. Leeds showed that theyre poor in midfield and at the back.

Id play Perisic against Trent but Sess has a touch more pace and can target that area.

I would play 352 with Bentancur and PEH bombing on from deep and beating the offside trap. Lucas will play and should have a bit more freedom with Kane dropping deep.

We have the tools to hurt them even without Son but whether we go from the tart is another matter. Last seasons game we went at them and got the early goal - we should have won that game 5 or 6 really.

If Son is out then you have to assume Moura will play and will be asked to make the same sort of runs (if Kulu and Richarlison are both still out)
