I wonder if Stellini is a 442 man or another purveyor of three at the back ?

Anyone seen of Porro train ? n the photos?
There was a photo of him and Danjuma with Paratici where he was wearing all his training gear, so I'd imagine he has definitely been with the squad.

Pretty confident here (I know, I know...). Even in the away match we had chances in the second half, Perisic managed to fluff a great chance at 2-2.

Their defence really isn't great, and our attack is our best asset. I'm expecting another high scoring game, 3-2 to us.

I'm predicting a City win, because that seems obvious, but I don't think it's completely cut and dry. We played decent football at times in the last game, and if our defenders didn't all end up shitting the bed at the same time, we'd have got something out of it. Also, as Daniel Juma is basically Bergwijn in disguise, I fully expect him to score on his EPL debut. It would be nice if that were the winner. I'd also like to see Porro get a bit of action in the 2nd half. I see no reason to delay getting him on the team.

Lol that would leave us so exposed it’s unreal. We’d still have 2 man midfield as Kane won’t track back, son barely does, we have Porro who’s best strength lies at wing back being wasted at rb
Son at his best when Kane drop down. One off the reasons to Sons dip is that Kane dosen't drop down that much any more.

Well he does constantly still drop deep but every teams knows he’s going to niw so has a plan. Same way they know son makes those runs but son doesn’t seem to have that pace any more weirdly.
You can’t in this day and age put a player at 10 who isn’t going to do the dirty work any more. It doesn’t work and we would be so so exposed.

How desperate are people to stop Arsenal winning the league?
Would you take a loss against City if it meant them beating Arsenal by 1 point.
If we were midtable and had no chance of top4 I would take the loss for sure. With us being it the race for top 4 however its more complicated.
I really am desperate for Arsenal not to win the league however

Rather focus on our own objectives, we cannot get carried away with what other teams are doing. If we are to progress as a club we really need top 4 this season. Liverpool and Chelsea will be looking to bounce back into the top 4 next season and we might get shut out completely without the draw of CL football for potential signings in the summer. City still have to play Arsenal twice and we can hope they beat them in those two games.

Having said that, fuck Arsenal and at least if we lose I will have something else to take comfort in

If Porro doesnt start I will be massively disappointed.

COYS
I think it’s probably more likely that Emerson starts. Conte might prefer the more defensive option against the best attack in the league, and also go with someone who knows his system better when he’s not able to help Porro on the sidelines/locker room.

Porro is our 10th signing under Conte and non of the previous 9 players went straight into the starting eleven in their first game.

Are people really hoping we lose to help fucking City...who gives a fuck what they are doing. If Arsenal come second and we come 5th it will be a massive failure

Thats pretty much how I'm looking at it. I hope we win but theres some comfort if we lose and it hurts Arsenal

I agreed with everything up to the last bit. As painful as it is to say, credit to them. Instead of envying them, we should try to the same. However, the main difference is that Arteta signed a long term deal so everyone knew he was comitted. Conte is dicking us around, so I say get rid.

Fully fit squad including Moura. Wow.
Interesting. Who does he leave out of the squad?

We pretty much know the first choice team and so the 9 potential subs are Sess, Davies, Sanchez, Royal, Skipp, Bissouma, Richarlinson, Danjuma and Moura. We can only have 8 plus a keeper.

It may be Moura for now as I doubt he is anywhere near 100 per cent but nice to see some attacking options!

On a less positive note, if we hit injuries and suspensions in a few weeks time then (ignoring keepers) the only other squad players to come in with any first team experience are Tanganga and Sarr. Can anyone think of anyone else?

I suspect this is his moment in the spotlight now that Conte is out of the way and he is a 4-2-4 all out kinda guy and completely ignore the midfield and conceding goals. High press system, FIFA style and go for a 7-5 game or something

Whichever way the wind blows with Conte, is there any way we can keep Stellini, do we have to pay Conte for him or just declare our undying love?

I'd like Porro to start but I'm not sure if he should, Stellini has the advantage of me as he's seen him train so I'll accept it whatever. Posted last time that we shouldn't drop Son against City but I'm not that sure this time.
As someone else posted I'm not confident on this game but I'm optimistic for the rest of the season.
