IMO it's good to have Bale on the bench because he can really change a game - could be crucial if we're really up against it with 30 mins to go. Interesting that Sandro gets the nod in midfield. Hoping he and Modric click. Time for me to get going! COYS! Etc!

I'd have prefered dropping Hutton altogether and putting Niko in.

For those who are shocked about Niko and Wilson - just wait until Hudd/Woodgate/Kaboul are fit - shows the strength of the squad.

Love having Bale on the bench, cannot wait to see him in last 30 mins against a shattered Milan team.

We are not going to be as dynamic without Bale, but we will be more solid. I just hope we don't sit back and try to hold what we have.

We need to go out and batter this lot and put some daylight between us in the first 30 minutes.

Perhaps Bale can come on at half time.

Very pleased about Sandro as well, that fella is a future starter for us.
