So by general consensus, I make that four starts and four MOTM's for Sandro and none more emphatically than tonight - says it all really.

Now can we just buy pato off them? I am sure he is sick of playing with a couple of retirees

I do admit I am a little surprised that pato and ibrahimovic didn't really have a sniff. Hats off to the back 4!! COYS!!!

Not vintage but well deserved. Sandro is immense. That should be a warning to any club coming to the Lane with Emirates written on their shirts.

Seriously after that Sandro is first team on the team sheet...that was an exceptional performance....

Think we could of unearthed the best DM in the world...OMG, he was exceptional.

Sandro was quite simply fantastic today. Absolutely outstanding.

He was also MoM (by my reckoning at least) in the Carling Cup game against Arsenal last September as well. The only real blip was the Bolton game where he and Palacios started in the middle and both a really poor first half.

Have to give a mention to our two centre backs as well, Dawson and Gallas were rightly pillared for their performance (individually and as a unit) against Wolves but were fantastic tonight and hardly gave Milan players a sniff second half.

Considering Modric, VdV, Bale and Lennon were fairly anonymous, it really highlights how important Sandro, Dawson and Gallas were.

I thought we were comfortable all game.

Sandro is Boss.

Yes they were, whole team put in a great defensive performance I thought. What a difference a couple of day makes.

Totally agree.

How many of us expected Sandro to make any kind of impact this season? He looks like being a proper world class DM.
