Agree.
My old man called it after 2 games.
He said I'd like to see someone put them under pressure because they wanna fk around with it at the back all the time and they wont just clear it no matter what.
Now we know.
Lloris does it a bit too much for my liking but he does boot it up the pitch occasionally as does our defence.
Its common sense (or it used to be).
And its not just Citae. Its almost every team in PL.
All trying to play like Barcelona but not good enough to do it and week after week you sit down and watch the weekends goals and half of them are self inflicted.
I find it truly mind boggling.
Fk knows what these teams actually look at when they watch these games back at training. Does no one say 'Wtf were you doing?'

Bravo has done it SO many times this season, it must be ingrained in him to play it out from the back but surely there's gotta be a time where you think "shit, there's an attacker right there, best boot it up the pitch" but he doesn't. If he keeps it up he'll get caught out many times.

Or the rest of the team will learn to move into space. Pep has been there for 5 minutes, think it's a bit early to decide his system is shit because we put them under massive pressure today.

I liked how Marriner couldn't be bothered to try and hide his bias and changed into a City shirt at half time...

Guardiola has already endorsed his failures from playing out from the back, basically gave him license to fuck up without fear of repercussion

You should watch Atletico Madrid fella, they make defending enjoyable to watch.

They are what we should be aspiring to as a defensive unit. Godin is incredible. Amazing Toby couldn't even get into their first team

I watched the highlights twice, I was so happy. That said, it was difficult to know what to say about Jenas and Wright commenting about Lamela's contributions. From the highlights only, he contributed to both goals in the build-up, but he seemed to have scrambled his thinking with the argument with Son. I got the impression that Lamela was the designated penalty taker, but this situation should not be repeated. I would have thought that as a goalkeeper, Lloris should know from training who is the best penalty taker. If that means that a defender is the best, then so be it. Griezmann seems to have got into the habit of missing penalties, too.
I think that Dele should have got his shot off before he got tackled for the penalty.

Some of his decision making, especially about some of the Rose fouls by Sterling might take on more significance historically

Most baffling was how Otamendi lasted more than half an hour. Two deliberate handballs, two more fouls on Alli and he stamped into a 'tackle' on Son when it was still at 1-0.

Sometimes a player just doesn't fit at a club, or it hasn't clicked yet, I think him at Soton was the time he started to figure it out. But when he finally got paired with super Jan, it all clicked for him, I think if Atletico had him now, they'd never let him go, he's that good, him and Godin would be amazing - I'm so glad we got him.

Chillax, fella...you ain't seen nothin' yet. Just wait till I catch up with @ItsBoris and put him to the question over the fragility of Manchester Citeh's defence!!! :nailbiting::nailbiting::nailbiting:

Well last year we put 4 past them and this year it was only 2, so it looks like Pep's making positive improvements, which you disputed. Now we have numerical proof. How do you like that spin? ;):D

Yeah but nine of those four goals against Citeh were offside and their one goal at the Lane wasn't offside even though it was because it wasn't as much offside as our (many) offside goals (apparently, according to Citeh fans)!

So, there you have it...their defence is not so good they will have a minus goals conceded score at the end of the season and even beat the Harlem Globetrotters at basketball - as you claimed (y)
