Sloppy play all over the pitch today. Some of the clearances were simply dreadful. Losing possession without being under real pressure. Just… off.

Dier, however, was excellent.

Really hard to make any sort of determination about anything from these two games, though after today, its clear how much Bissouma and Spence can help us in areas.

I thought Sarr had a much better time today than against the K-League team. He looked more confident in his position both with and without the ball.

Doherty on the left has to be nothing more than a last resort.

It's a friendly, nothing too serious but please let's open our eyes about Doherty. Not good enough in an attacking sense at all and doesn't press or defend very well either. A few okish games last season seems to have blinded some people, if one of him or Emerson should go, it better be Doherty.

I don't think we learnt much about any of the players today. Nonetheless, this will have been a good intense test for them early in preseason.

We've also barely used our new signings beyond Richarlison. Perisic, Lenglet, Bissouma and Spence could add a lot.

Nor have we played anything like our first 11.

Sarr was quite good today, better than his first game. He was probably the best CM for us today. All the other 3 made mistakes on possession.
But it doesnt mean much in larger context. If Sarr wont be played for 2000 min of regular football with us, I hope we loan him to La Liga or Bundesliga side....so he develops his technical game further with more game time
