I dont blame Poch. We had 26 attempts, 8 on target. The chances were there. Fabianski played well, Swansea were cynical as hell and Mike Dean was just horrible.
Yes, that would have helped as well along with the other 9 vital things that he changed with that line-up. Had Aurier played from the beginning and a natural LB instead of negating Sonny's attacking then it would have been better. So many other things he could have done instead of the square pegs approach. Poch did not put the team in a position for success today. Are three cBs and Dier needed in home games like this?
We are crying out for a ball player in midfield. If only we had one on the bench.
Hit the crossbar and two clear penalties - 27 shots on goal - total dross - a statement clouded by the 0-0 result. How did Liverpool get on at home today? Welcome to a very competitive Premier league season 2017-2018.That was horseshit from before kick off til the end. Poch trying to be too clever by half in dropping Davies and trying to fit too many square pegs in round holes. One paced, standing still, AVB footy for 95 mins. Swansea never really had to do anything other than stay disciplined. Really turgid stuff.
The evidence is mounting that we won't be competitive at the very top end at Wembley.
Trippier is bang average...at least Davies and Aurier will be nice and fresh for Barnsley.
Good grief.
Poch fucked us today and lets hope he accepts that....!
no more PL games at Wembley until Bournemouth after the Int Break... we know they will play so maybe we will get a win in that one as if this continues we will be lucky to get top 10, let alone top 6.
I just hope Levy doesn't get itchy and accepts we may go into the new stadium with no European football next year... call this knee jerk as much as you want but 2 points from 9 against Burnley & Swansea too - is just fucking awful.
Guarantee you that City, Utd, Chelsea and even Arsenal wont drop any points to these 2 at home.
Dele Alli needs to be dropped.
He's turned into a bit of a prick this season and I can't imagine he'll be here next season.
I'm not normally one to dig out refs, but he was fucking dreadful today.
Two fucking penalties.
Just why was Son subbed, our most likely source of scoring.
I was there last week, just doesn't feel right. Atmosphere not there.Wembley had nothing to do with it.
Did poch kill our momentum going into the game with he's team selection ? Yes did poch make the wrong subs ? YesKneejerk about how bad poch is and how long this season is gonna be incoming
If he is so bad maybe we should just sack him and replace him with one of you?
Did poch make harry kanes shot hit the bar?
Did poch make fabianski make good saves?
Did poch ask Mike dean to not give us any of the 3 pens we could've had?
Second half especially I didn't even think we were that bad
