I hate the supposed 'games we're bound to win' as they are a potential banana skin and we usually have our banana-skin-seeking-loafers on.

On the plus side another game to help ingrain the MoPo ethos can only be a good thing.

I hope.. no excpect 3 points but I bet they make us work hard for them.

I'd like to see the rest of the front four putting in the same level of pressing as Erik Lamela has been showing these past few games.

I think as soon as the others start pressing and harassing as well as Lamela then we will start to do to our opponents what Dortmund did to Arsenal this week.

It's a work in progress but I just hope to see improvement game-by-game. Plus some good, attacking football.

As I said last week, we have to kill teams when we are on top and I worry that we don't have the natural finishers in our team to do this when chances are limited by the opposition.

I do think we will have far too much for WBA today.

4-1

Can Soldado play this week please> I'm still eager to see him get proper minutes with Lamela and Erikson.

We'll need an early goal that's for sure. If not I can see them parking the bus and we may end up toiling away to get a breakthrough. I see Lescott is fit enough to start and they have no injuries in their 25 man squad (wouldn't that be nice for us one day). Irvine picked a bold selection against Everton by playing two strikers but two errors at the back cost them the game.

I'd love them to play two strikers and have a go because we'd beat them.

But it's so much easier to sit back and flood the midfield and stop us playing and hope to nick one. We've failed a lot in recent years with the lesser sides doing this and it wouldn't surprise if it happens again today.

Got to get at them from the first minute and get that early goal! COYS

On the way to the Lane with my 6 year old little girl Mia for her first ever game!
To be honest, very proud moment for me, thought time was running out for me to have kids, so it's a bit special for me, and she's dead excited too!
Hopefully we'll knock a few in the back of the net!
Come give us a COYS if you're anywhere near Block 16 row 2 (y)

Enjoy the day. Though I think getting a kid as young as 6 to follow Spurs may well constitute child abuse. Nobody needs to feel that amount of disappointment so early in life.

I don't think we need an early goal or anything like that. We just need to do what we did last week. We hit the woodwork twice. We were unlucky, simple as that. If we show up and repeat last weeks performance, maybe be a little more solid at the back, we should win.

Lol Why not? I was 6 for my first game in 1978, and have been suffering ever since.
Whether she likes it or not, she will be enduring a similar fate, don't see why it should just be me :ROFLMAO:
But I agree, it's tantamount to child abuse, but hey ho, it's in the blood, no escape ;)
