Why do people expect us to just turn up and beat the mid/bottom teams?

We are not playing fluently at the back, scary at defending set pieces, lack real pace in defending swift counter attacks and need multiple tries to score. We have no decent crosser of the ball, no mix and match tactics (only try to play through the middle predictably) and people expect us to thrash teams?

Any well organised team who have studied our weaknesses can beat us. Until Poch gets us well drilled, there is NO team we can expect to beat by a huge margin. I hope I am proved wrong, but this is still a work in progress team and I don't think wins should be taken for granted.
