It's been a common theme of late with lethargic play from the get-go.

Can't always keep needing a HT bollocking to get us playing anything like what's required.

at least with a sunday game i can enjoy one day of the weekend. come on spurs, don't ruin both ffs.

The only guarantee is that later today one or both of them sides playing at Anfield will get a result they don’t want.

Have to say, much as I’m always grateful for people putting in the effort 9n these threads a don’t like the sky sports style way the team is being posted in first post at all.

Would prefer names and laid out in formation as too confusing.

It’s pretty but not very easy to work out.

Now back to slating their performance so far!

In other news the sky is blue.

To be fair it's not all Pochettino's fault. We're playing on a bigger pitch every week as well as in Europe. The lack of quality depth is one of the main reasons when you're supposed to be playing high intensity football.

You can press effectively on any pitch. This bigger pitch excuse is wearing thin.

We are incapable of playing against teams that sit deep. Even crap teams. This is beyond shocking, embarrassing first 25 minutes.

Last 5 minutes we seem to have totally lost interest in the game. No urgency, no pressing, passes going astray...

Not that you can't, just that it takes a lot more out of you when you do. That combined with fixture congestion is not great. Our depth is nowhere near good enough for a high pressing team. Poch doesn't trust half the bench players.

This match is what the phrase "one of those days" was invented for...

It really isn't, because we look little different to how we do against these types of teams that come to Wembley. Same old slow ponderous shit. We've barely had an attempt at goal.
