We don't really ever need three defenders on the bench but that does seem to be an obsession for Poch, so instead of Rose, Walker-Peters gets a pointless place as a sub.

If Poch has Tuesday in his mind than the only plausable reason there is with Rose not even on the bench, otherwise I say bridges have been smashed for good!

Very attacking lineup though - will be interesting to see the balance in the centre of the park but undoubtedly we will have the lions share in predominantly the WBA half.

May need to be patient initially as they will be prepared to be ultra defensive but so as long as we show a better mentality than against Arsenal, we'll eventually make it pay - get to 2 goals up and it could be a battering.

Rose is clearly on a program of playing then recovery week. No idea why that’s strange.

I think it's more likely that it's part of his rehab just like last weekend. Training session today and a start in mid week.

Nkoudou is clearly finished. Bit of dead wood to be shifted in January. Edwards not even on this bench is scandalous.
