I'm not a natural conspiracy theorist, but that's the end of the road for Rose I reckon. An innocuous explanation - a last-minute injury - is possible, but not likely.

If Rose mouths off to the press again, then you may well be right.

We don't really ever need three defenders on the bench but that does seem to be an obsession for Poch, so instead of Rose, Walker-Peters gets a pointless place as a sub.

When Wanyama and Toby get back, Poch will be in element being able to have 6 defensive minded players on the pitch and 3 on the bench.

no one would complain at rose being on the bench ahead of kwp.

i do think it's stupid when poch publicly states we need a tricky 1v1 dribbler against teams that come and park the bus against us and then has sissoko and llorente as his two attacking options off the bench though.

Looking at them lineups and seeing who is instructing WBA today suggests we should beat these convincingly. But it's Wembley and these are gonna sit back. Really hope we can get an early goal and show some urgency today.
