Also hope Reus stays and doesn't get tempted by megabucks elsewhere, just seems like a fan really living the dream playing for his hometown club.

Unless it's us (I know never happen) my favourite player outside of Spurs

Just got back from the match. Brilliant atmosphere. Thoroughly enjoyable. Exemplary behavior from both sets of fans, especially Dortmund's. Great game, sadly the better team won but the referee was total shit.
Where did they find this moron who clearly shouldn't ref an u/8s match let alone the CL final?
When he went to collect his medal he was roundly jeered by all including neutrals like me.
Apart from him, great experience. Would love to see us there one day (even the Europa Final will do!).

Could easily have sent Ribery and Dante off...

We were sat near the Bayern fans, I'm sure the stadium shouldn't have been shaking like it was when the Dortmund fans were bouncing up and down!

Dante should have been second yellowed for the pen foul, but that aside, I don't think the ref had a terrible game. Ribery could have gone and so could Lewandowski but both would have been harsh for hand bag type things.

Jamie Redknapp with some sly digs towards avb there?

The same Jamie Redknapp talking about how he was watching Lewandowski in Poland before he moved to Dortmund? I don't miss all that verbal nonsense being associated with the club.

Just made a comment about laptop managers and you need guys with experience like Heynckes and Fergie, I'm sure he wanted to slip "my dad" in there too
I thought that was aimed at Klopp but AVB isnt what I call a laptop managers as he dismissed all that crap at Chelsea

Wonderful footballer. Quite similar to Bale in his technique and in the way he just drifts past players.

Sadly, the general consensus of the neutrals around me do not agree with you about the referee (not to mention the booing of the officials at the end of the game). How bitter would we have been as Spurs fans if at (what turned out to be) 1-1 in any final the ref did not send off the central defender when he should have.Bit of a game changer I'd say.
Also what may not have been picked up by the TV was the frequent play acting of the Bayern players which was not acted upon and each time caused Dortmund to cease their build up sometimes when in a promising position and potentially stopping a counter attack. Each time the Bayern player sprung back up within 15 seconds, only exception being Boateng's genuine injury towards the end of the game.
It's funny how being there gives you a different perception, but I still say the ref had a poor game and I won't repeat some of the understandably dejected Dortmund fans' comments on the tube ride home.

Really entertaining game from 2 teams that were set on playing football - unlike the likes of Inter and Chelski very recently. Bayer were the better team, though - slightly. Bad defending cost BvD. I had hope for BvD to win, particularly after the Gotze ordeal (leaked out by Bayern).
Javi Martinez cost around the same as the whole BvD's team cost, which says a bit about the economic difference between the 2 clubs.

I noticed this during the game, and found it very frustrating, but sadly its part of the game. Muller on the floor and then complaining, after being taken out by the lb annoyed me - he did the exact same against Real in the build up to Robben's goal. Also Dante shouting at the ref after he had just studded Reus - take the punishment like a man!!

Great game and advert for german football last night. I thought BD dominated the first half and should have been a goal or two up. Second half BM just shaded it for me
