Wouldn't be surprised if the review panel all turned up food poisoning and they had to delay the decision

Bloody disgusting, but pretty much to be expected.

When will we finally see some real unbias decisions made in our beloved PL, the blades should take this to the european commission as the PL officals are obviously feeding some mouths left right and centre.

First an independant commision didnt think a points deduction was warranted and now an abitration panel have also said that a points deduction wasnt warranted.

Do one Sheff Utd :shake:

I personally dont think there was ever any doubt about this decision.

There were simply too many reasons why a points deduction wasnt appropriate compared to very few reasons why there should have been.

And so another bottled decision from all the authorities. They were obviously never going to do anything this time because they'd left it too late. The FA are the only ones to blame for not sorting this out properly in the first place. Shocking decision in the first place and pretty much an open invitation now for every team in the premiership to go out and cheat.

This precedent was set long ago mate.

Its strictly against our rules to arrange private meetings with players in order to tap them up behind the back of the players current club but if you do get caught doing it we will only fine you £300k.

Yup as long as the club has money they can pretty much do what they want. I hate it and I fear for how the Premiership will turn out as long as clubs can basically cheat their way to success.

Agreed. I just cant see them ever getting tough though. Precedents have been set.

If a club wont get points deducted for making illegal payments to players, or tapping up players, or agreeing to illegal clauses in 3rd party agreements, then what will they get deducted points for?

Bottled. And bottled in a big way.

I remember Middlesbrough being docked three points in 1997 for failing to fulfill a fixture, a few more trivial 'offence' and those three points deducted effectively relegated them.

Perhaps Levy should have took the FA on when our players all went down ill when we played at Upton Park 2 seasons ago. However, considering the FA were all at Highbury, sitting next to David Dein when Levy rang and asked for the game to be delayed, perhaps it's best he didn't.

When origially making the decision the commission concluded that a deduction of points "would normally follow from such a breach of rules".

So why did the FAPL wait for so long to bring disciplinary proceedings?

"In my opinion, West Ham received favourable treatment"

Rotten, every last one of them.
