Didn't see that
Didn't see that
First an independant commision didnt think a points deduction was warranted and now an abitration panel have also said that a points deduction wasnt warranted.
Do one Sheff Utd :shake:
a good old east end knees up for you tonight then??
And so another bottled decision from all the authorities. They were obviously never going to do anything this time because they'd left it too late. The FA are the only ones to blame for not sorting this out properly in the first place. Shocking decision in the first place and pretty much an open invitation now for every team in the premiership to go out and cheat.
This precedent was set long ago mate.
Its strictly against our rules to arrange private meetings with players in order to tap them up behind the back of the players current club but if you do get caught doing it we will only fine you £300k.
Yup as long as the club has money they can pretty much do what they want. I hate it and I fear for how the Premiership will turn out as long as clubs can basically cheat their way to success.
I personally dont think there was ever any doubt about this decision.
There were simply too many reasons why a points deduction wasnt appropriate compared to very few reasons why there should have been.
