Window closed and all in all it's been a good one. So where does everyone think we will finish now?

Sure there's been a bitter after taste since Friday with losing the NLD. with Bale leaving and Madrid selling a truly World Class player to Arsenal in return and losing BAE and signing no other LB.

But on the plus we didn't sell any of our strikers so still have defoe and Adebayor who hopefully comes back as he gives us something different.

We didn't get rid of Lennon, Townsend or Siggurdson so we do have some real attacking options off the bench now.

we also have Kaboul and Vlad so Dawson will probably be relegated to bench and Europa duties, our defense will instantly be so much better with Kaboul back.

As for Danny Rose...I thought he was actually quite decent defensively on Sunday! he won't face many better than Walcott, just needs to work on his cross and decision making like Kyle.

shame the next game is so far away and we'll have to put up with smug gooners but meh, I think we look in decent shape

Hard to say given the amount of newbies brought in to the squad, need to allow for a bit of time for them to gel. Weve had a good start and I thought we deserved at least a draw yesterday - a much better start to the season than last year.

Really excited at watching Ericksen and Lamela settle and link up with Soldado. Chuffed we've held on to Lennon, and hopefully Ade can pull his socks up.

I think we will make top 4 come May.

Too soon for me to decide yet. The arse have got stronger since last year, Liverpool have got stronger, Man Utd have got a bit weaker (Fergie leaving), Chelsea should be stronger, but they don't play Mata, which is weird, Man City will be up and down this year I reckon. We should be stronger but we have lost a world class match winner, who must have won us 15 odd points on his own last year so can't see us getting a lot more points than last year. So the best I can say is: somewhere in the top 6.

Going green to be an incredible season think, I don't see who is the favourite for the league.

I voted we can finish 3rd, we have kept Lennon, Holtby, Defoe and Ade which I'm happy about. If we can get them all motivated that gives us great depth to compete in 4 cups.

Main concerns, if Lloris gets injured, our highline doesn't suit Brad at all and we didn't seem to adjust it when he played.

Full back position, all other positions have competition for places accept full backs. Not sure what happened with Bae but I don't see us being stronger without at least having him in the squad. I don't think Rose is half as bad as some people are making out, but that doesn't mean he should be playing all games, and I don't want Vert shoved out there for our EL games. Maybe Fryers can make the step up. Same for Walker, he knows he won't be benched for Naughton any time soon. So needs some genuine competition to keep him on his toes.

Having said all that I believe we can def come 3rd.

Liverpool look good have made better transfers than usual with Suarez staying they are a force.

Arsenal basically flamini can do the job of kicking people as he proved he shut down our midfield pretty easily. Add the flair of ozil and giroud is starting to find his feet they finished above us last year with a weaker squad.

Our new signings will take a while to click we will drop points until they do will take a while to take points off teams we should be beating and as of the case predict we will finish strong but ultimately don't predict a top 4 finish think we will the Europa and fa cup!. If all the signings settle we need to have patience Rome wasn't built in a day season of transition we are a new look Tottenham will take us a while to find our identity

If we'd have got the players I mentioned in my 'how to win the title' post we could have had a good crack at winning it imo, but now it's 4th with a little help of things going our way. No LB, especially, is a bad bad error.

I can't place us, but I think we are going to finish 3rd to 5th, I don't see us dropping to 6th or going higher than 3rd. I think 1st/2nd is set for Chelsea/City when they get their squads figured out. I see United continuing to struggle under Moyes. I think Liverpool will be very, very strong this year, and we pretty much swapped with Arsenal; they have the best player between the squads, but we have the stronger squad overall.

Don't think we will finish top 4 but have set ourselves up for long-term success. We now have a core group of young players that we need to keep together for years to come and top 4/title challenge will come.....just not this year as they learn to play together and adapt to the Prem.

I think 6th. Kaboul making us stronger is a huge assumption. He has been out for a year and might not be the same player, and he was only a good player for one season anyway.

I've gone 3rd. Think it's been an excellent window and think we will he really strong this year. I reckon Soldado will get 20 league goals. And I couldn't give a flying fuck that Arsenal bought Ozil.

4th on goal difference to fifth.... sounds silly as we haven't scored from open play yet, but it's just a feeling I have

Anywhere between 3-6 place imo. I liked our odds better before i realized that liverpool will be a real threat this season.

They have a defense and keeper and their attack is amongst the better in the league. They are light in the middel, but with no europe to worry about they dont need the same squad depth as the rest.

Arsenal won't get top four this year. Their players are too injury prone and Ozil doesn't help their issues one bit, not worried about them at all.

Anyone that has actually watched Liverpool play can see that they won't get top four either. One injury to Daniel Sturridge and their season is over. And yes I know Suarez will be coming back but I can't see him performing well, he wanted to leave more than Gareth did and Liverpool forced him to stay, can't see that working out well.

It's a shame we have this international break coming up, I fucking hate internationals now... It's all about club games. However playing Norwich at home will be like a training match for the players to gel and I can see us kicking on from there.

I have us down for third and I believe Chelsea will win the title followed by Man City.

Anywhere between 4-6, depends how we gel as a team, think our biggest rivals will be Liverpool, playing some good stuff and the three signings they made today were very astute

4th at least...we played at 60% yesterday against pretty much the best Arsenal have to offer (excluding Ozil) and they only beat us 1 - 0 in a tight affair. When we knit it together offensively (and we will - we're already a better side than this time last season) then we should finish above them by 5 or 6 points. Them and Liverpool don't have the squads to compete at the top for a whole season consistently. It'll be tight but yesterday encouraged me greatly and we're only just beginning to get it together - when we click we'll be fantastic for large parts of the season and we have a great squad with greater strength in depth.

5th. Just because I can't see the others dropping out of the top 4.

I think the league is open this year.
Everyone saying city chelsea.
Yep mourinho team selection is just crazy.( they got super lucky against villa and looked shit at united)
City will leak goals when kompany is not about (cardiff)
The league is very much anyones.
Personally if we get more points in the first 10 -15 games then last season then we will right in there at the end, our squad has true depth to it.

That's right, just by the happiness they have displayed from the manager down to the supporters. Before when they have beaten us it was a bit more of a business as usual attitude. They played their little hearts out on Sunday,.
