Met Dawson whilst serving him on the checkout at work, top bloke had a conversation about pre-season asking him how it's going and he asked me how well I thought we'd do in the season.

Met Lennon as well, arrogant sod :)

Met Mabbutt twice - he's exactly what you'd expect - just as top a bloke in the flesh as he comes across in the media.

Used to live near David Howells and he always seemed nice enough when I talked to him, mainly down the petrol station.

Gus Poyet is a great guy.

Sol Campbell was a bit awkward (in himself, not as in difficult).

Gary Lineker didn't impress me - seemed a bit aloof, but have heard that's not a common experience of him.

Chris Waddle is a good laugh.

Not really met any of our current lot.

I went to see Watford vs Tottenham for a preseason friendly many years ago. Teddy Sheringham still played for us but he was injured at the time. I was standing outside the stadium, waiting for my Nan to pick me up (she was about an hour late) and Teddy walks past on his way to the car park round the corner, asked if I was alright and waited with me until my Nan turned up, top man!

I've met quite a few players, must have been about 1995 when I met the whole squad. I don't remember too much about individuals apart from what an absolute legend David Ginola was.

When he walked in the room, a girl in there let out a little scream and he smoothly said "I wish my partner had that reaction more often" or something along them lines.

Went to a Mabbsy book signing, has to be the nicest bloke in the world. Had so much time to chat with us, even though there was a massive queue of peeps waiting to meet him. Chatted for about 15 mins about getting into the CL and winning the FA Cup.....top top bloke.

Met David Howells in the Griffin on Chancery Lane, said hello, chtted for a bit and he put in £1 into the strippers collection fund for me!!! top lad!!

Met Anderton a few times....bit of a tool!!

Met Teddy once and was very surprised to find that he was only 5'1", black, and spoke with a welsh accent.

My family is very good friends with Ricky Villa and Ossie Ardiles's family and have met them on several occasions. Very nice families as you would expect. Even going out to Ricky's ranch in Argentina later in the year which will be awesome.

I also went out on the lash with half of the Colchester United players which consisted of Teddy Sheringham and Johnnie Jackson at the time. Was probably one of the most surreal nights of my time at University haha! Was currently in the bar in colchester town center where I was working having a drink with my mate and was thinking about leaving until I noticed a few of the colchester players there. Anyway next thing the legend himself Teddy started talking to us asking where is good to go in colchester on a tuesday night, anyway after a few more drinks theyve invited us both out with them and ended up going out to this club in town with them! Was sooo bizzarre but such a top night and teddy was an absolute legend, Even at the age of 40/41 he was still getting the most attention from all the birds who could of been no older then 18/19 haha! Needless to say next day was a complete an utter right off...

Johnnie Jackson on the otherhand was probably dumbest fella i think I have ever come across in my life... Bless him.

Met Paul Robinson in a restaurant once.

It was New Years Eve and for some reason we weren't playing the day after.

He was a really nice bloke chatting, signing autographs and having photos with everyone.

Was also wondering round with a massive tray of drinks dishing them out.

After midnight his Mrs was going round getting everyone dancing.

Cracking night.

Although I was never officially introduced to any Spurs player I did meet them all, quite regularly in fact, by running onto the pitch as a 10-12 year old and jumping onto their backs as they were trapesing towards the player entrance after the game. Got a kick up the arse once from Bobby Collins when jumping onto Billy Bremner's back......what a magnificent midfield pairing they were, dirty as f... but so competitive.

I was lucky enough to meet the whole squad at a meet and greet in October. Harry, Kevin Bond and Joe Jordan were extremely nice. Harry was talking to me and everyone there as if we were his mates down the pub, extremely friendly and very funny.

As for the squad, they had just come out of training and had little time so conversation was brief but those who seemed particularly friendly and chatty were Gomes, Kaboul and Bassong. Everyone else was polite and signed autographs for everyone and seemed happy to do it.

Particular mention also to Michael Dawson, who was on crutches at the time. He was in a rush and had to go to a meeting at Wembley, but when he emerged quite a few of the junior hotspurs asked him for an autograph. He made sure he signed every single one, posed for photos with everyone and was excellent with the kids-great guy.

Met Simon Davies a few years back when he was already at Fulham and Woy just kept them up- said he was good for us- asked him if he would stay if Fulham went down and Ithen said if they don't beat Derby- they had drawn at the weekend- they don't deserve to stay up but they did!

Seen Sean Davis and Luke Young since they have left Spurs, hadn't bothered chatting to be honest just asked the former if he would ever score (he was having some bet that he wouldn't cut his hair until he scored) and just asked the latter if he was Luke Young. He seemed to want to chat though, or because maybe he was with his wife and kids but what would you say 'So you used to play for Spurs...'.

Wipey almost ran me over in his Kia 4x4 once.

The rest of the time you were too quick for him, right?

Just chatting to my mate today about Ian Walker who came over to play in the Malaysian Masters last year. Walker was very sad and asked my mate, who is 21 and unemployed, whether he knew of any jobs going. He had failed to keep his role as Bolton's 4th choice goalkeeper and had recently been released. Very sad.

Hmmm.

I understood that Walker left Bolton 3 years ago...

Met a lot of the players at Various dinner and dances in the 90's

one that springs to mind was Paul Walsh. We asked for a photo with him, he said nothing just stood there and counted down 5 seconds before walking off...

I was with BethnalYid at an NBA game last year at the o2. And bumped into Darren Bent. He had an entourage, they looked like the Addams family. He seemed ok. Just a quick Hi and a "sup" nod..............

Met Allan Nielsen and his family in a restaurant in Soho (think he was playing for Watford at the time) he was a lovely chap and seemed genuinely thrilled that someone had recognised him. I thanked him for the goal against Leicester and left him and his family to enjoy their meal, as I was leaving he came over and gave me an autographed napkin that read 'Anytime!'.... I take it he was referring to the goal and not coming on to me.
