You only have to go Nubar. Thudd who is a bit of a twat, Lennon, Luka, Corluka, J'OH and Daws. Daws is probably the most down to earth I've met along with Luka.

I remember when I was very young me and my old man got to the Lane very early and bumped into Stuart Nethercott and slightly more high profile Ricky Villa, I could only have been 7/8 so I don't remember much.

I was also sat very near Steffen Freund at Old Trafford as someone else has mentioned, decked out in Spurs gear including his 99 Worthington Cup final shirt. What a fantastic moment, a cult hero of Spurs just humbly sat with the away fans at OT, I wonder if he had to suffer the indignity of being on hold to the Spurs ticket office for 6 hours as well.

My favourite one however was just last year, I met Steve Perryman at a football dinner and had a photo with him and my Grandad, who's first game Spurs game was in the 1920s. Me, a Spurs legend and my Spurs mad grandad. Top bloke.

A 'tool' or a 'twat' is a another way of saying someone is an idiot mate. I would presume they said 'bit of a tool' or 'bit of a twat' because the player was rude.

Twat is also another name for a ladies genitals, so best not to call anyone a twat unless they are your friend or you want to offend them

How could I forget mentioning Bale!

I met him last year at The O2 after a Ne-Yo concert, he was so shy and quiet.

My Gooner mate gave him some banter and he just laughed it off, barely said a word, but due to being shy not a twat.

Met Razor Ruddock outside the ground a few years back after the opening day 1-1 draw with liverpool. Nice guy, took the time to take a photo with me despite being in a rush. I am a pretty big bloke but he towered over me.....bet he scared a few centre forwards in his time.

I've met Aaron Lennon a few times, the last time being the summer just gone in a beer garden in Leeds. Ghana vs Uruguay was on the big screen if I recall....

He's a top lad.

Steve Sedgley when I was young. He spoke to my dad for hours in the pub about Spurs past and present, just seemed an everyday nice guy. He bought a few rounds in too and bought me some crisps :D

He's a massive Spurs fan too

I met Steven Carr in Eros in Enfield (was a popular haunt for Spurs players back in the day) and it was on a day we'd narrowly lost to ar5ena1. I was stood next to him at a bar. and I said something along the lines of 'We nearly had them today'...he looked me up and down and just walked off. Watched him do the same thing time and again all nite.

Needless to say i was pleased as punch that his career went off the rails!!

Agree the guy is a complete cock.....a few of my mates met him and said the same, that he was a tool.

We went to a Rep of Ireland game in cyprus a few years back after Carr had left us,my son wore his spurs shirt and stood above the players tunnel, as the teams went in at the final whistle, my son aged 17, called out..''Stevie...'' he looked up thinking it was a friendly spurs fan waving, my son gave him an almighty wanker sign almost touching his head whilst telling him ''you wanker Carr''.....Carr's face was a picture, he went fucking mental and gave my son a 'V'sign back, we were all on the floor laughing, even a few of the Irish team were laughing.

I've met loads over the years and most of them were friendly enough, don't recall too many arrogant ones. Other than the early-90s Andy Gray who we signed from Palace, he thought he was much better than he was.

Special mention to Peter Shreeves who I sat next to at some dinner and he was great company and loves Spurs. He used to scout until not long ago, hates Comollii the bloke is a back-stabbing, out of his depth tool.

The best, without a shadow of a doubt, was Ginola. The bloke is an absolute legend, so friendly it's untrue. And the coolest man you'll ever meet.

Had the fortune of meeting quite a few players over the years through work etc. Most are just handshakes and the bit of banter,

Pat Jennings - really nice, likes to chat about spurs
Paul Allen - good bloke
Allan Mullary - very funny
David Ginola - nice guy but a bit self loving
Gary Lineker - was more interested in his pint
Gazza - very happy to talk
Sol Campbell - arrogant
Tim Sherwood - funny
Ian Walker - bit wierd
Les Ferdinand - nice guy
Martin Chivers - loves tottenham
Eric Thorsvedt - legend, really top gent
Luka Modric - very quiet, not suprising
VDV - just a cool bloke
Dean Austin - who cares?
Jake Livermore - seems like a pretty level headed kid

Oh yeah I forgot about meeting Bale too! It was when I was at uni in Cardiff (Before he made his big break through into the first team). He was on a night out with Earnshaw and that RB Welsh international who used to play for us, can't recall his name off the top of my head, think we sold him to Forrest?!

Used to run a newspaper in Hackney in 1985-6. Went to interview Paul Miller for his testimonial celebrations. Sat with him at the training ground building asking questions about his career. As we started he invited one of his mates to come over and join the conversation.....when I looked up was amazed to see it was Glenn Hoddle! Sat there with them both for half an hour and desperately tried to think up new questions to keep the interview going. Managed to swing the questions around to include Glenn who seemed very interested joining in on the local angle for players growing up in and around London. Went to WHL for the testimonial game which was against Rangers and Souness's first match as manager. Stood on the pitch as Paul did the publicity shots. Memories.
