Would love to see him make the final 23 for Algeria. That match against Belgium could be a classic, especially the Moose vs Nabil aspect.

Thought he was very good today. Looked like he belonged on that pitch as much as the other, more senior pros playing central midfield for both us and Chelsea. Said before that his potential is scary given that he's the youngest regular member of the first team squad. He's still not the finished article yet and he's not perfect, but his ability to stay calm and cool under pressure in big games shows a mental strength that belies his age.

I can see him being genuinely top class by the time he's in his mid-20's, as much for his character as his technical and physical qualities. Hopefully he'll make that journey in our colours, but I think he'll make it regardless.

Still passes for the sake of passing too much, but that can be said for a lot of our squad.

Plays much better when he's being pressed.

Im guessing mason will be out for a month at least...means Benji and moussa are only cms here if you think capoue will keep not playing, and if paulinho keeps only playing as am. Hopefully they can hold it together

If you have a look on the Spurs FB page, a couple of days ago they posted that Bentaleb returns from injury. The top comment was "leave him out of the squad, not good enough" followed by that guy commenting today "worst player on the pitch today". There really is no helping some people, once they decide they don't like a player, they won't change their mind.

It really is disgusting.

A wonderful player and will go a long way...i think the biggest problem is he is associated with Sherwood and he has been played too much at times but an excellent prospect for us!

I feel sorry for the haters...poor stupid morons the lot of them.

Fortunately Poch makes his own judgements ... not that he's any different from any other manager in that respect, but still.

I love Nabs.

I also love that at half time we were 3-1 up against a team that cost millions with goals from three graduates from our academy.

The kid is already prem quality. He could be world class. Our 'fans' get on his back at the first sign of the wrong pass/poor pass. Some, 100%, want him to fail so they can say "always said he was shit. Absolutely batshit mental.

First misplaced pass yesterday and a guy a few seats away from me said "fucking Bentaleb, I hate that fucking ****".

Couldn't quite believe it. He grew into the game immensely yesterday. He is one our youth products, just a kid, massively talented etc.

I think Bentaleb has all be needs to be one of the best in the prem, give him time.

Sad if people are that concerned about their own opinions that they would rather see a player fail than be proved wrong.

I can't help but adore this guy. Seems such a genuine lad, clearly loves the club to death, plays with his heart on his sleeve and has that nasty streak that I love to see in players. Oh and I almost forgot to mention that he's a truly world class prospect! There's nothing not to like about him, the people that slag him off are lost causes. Two of my best mates are scum fans (I know right, the horror!) and even they always say that he's probably gonna be a player they'll envy us for having in the future. One of them is a proper Arsenal fanboy as well, so that's a big concession from him!
