Oh dear, I think I was searching for some obscure existential reasoning and thus missed what was slapping me right in the face

Yep, he's now plying his trade in Ukraine. This thread needs locking.

If he's signed for another club, doesn't this get moved to General Football?

Arsenal, Tottenham and Aston Villa could revive their interest in Younes Belhanda after he made a shock U-turn over his proposed move to Dynamo Kiev, according to L'Equipe.
The Morocco international was widely reported to have completed a switch from Montpellier to the Ukrainian side over the weekend - he was even presented to the club's fans during their friendly against Zenit St Petersburg on Sunday.
But L'Equipe say the playmaker had a total change of heart later that day and has no desire to play for Dynamo - and that could re-open the door for a trio of Premier League sides to make their move.
Belhanda, who has not yet finalised his transfer to Dynamo, is also coveted elsewhere on the continent, with German side Schalke 04 believed to be best placed to seal his signature.
The France-born midfielder was named Ligue 1 Young Player of the Year in 2012 following his role in Montpellier's title-winning campaign

Damn, after that I really don't know if I'd want him. That's very unprofessional.

You beat me too it. What a ****.

I was just thinking how it would be if Paulinho did that to us. I could never respect that player again, so despite not having any tie to Dynamo Kiev (Except that I want Yarmolenko!), I can sort of understand just how shitbaggish this move by Belhanda is.

Its one thing having a last minute change of heart and reneging on a gentlemens agreement (although still a bit shitty). Going off to sign for another club after you've already been paraded in front of the fans though is another league.

He probably thought, shit this attemt to get bids in didnt work and the Ukrane?? What a fucking shit hole Im out! Seems like a prime example of a shit managment not knowhing or carign what the player wants. Yes it was totaly dissrespectful but hes a young guy and should be having better guidance so this shit doesnt happen. Bad agents and management are a cancer to the game and sport IMO.
