Ahh, slight hitch with the first part, but the second half we can work with...

This guy is a good player with lots of potential, but is also a massive tool. I'll back AVB and the committees judgement of the player, but he has all the arrogance of a KPB prior to him learning that you have to earn the right to play for a big club.

Yeah his personality seems a bit suspect, but he's young, and with the right guidance he could grow up pretty quickly. Having said that, I'd love to have him here. From what I've seen of him he looks like he'd fit in well.

Is that because Lennon and Huddlestone are also both bellends?

Club have apparently received five bids for Belhanda - from Inter, Atletico, Galatasaray, Aston Villa and AC Milan. Player said to prefer Villa as he wants to play in England.

Enter Daniel Levy, stage left? :D

Wow, if he wants to go to Villa, let's just undercut them by a tad and Belhanda will end up just forcing his way here by tying Montpellier's hands.

Anyone else spot the deliberate mistake in this statement.

Does anyone know if he can play on the left? I think he'd be a great alternative to Bernard.

He's not a winger but he has pace and can play wide, the thing is though if we get a decent overlapping left back a goalscoring am that's comfortable playing wider or narrower is arguably our best option.
I think Griezmann would be my favoured option because he can play just as comfortably left wing am or second striker andf scores a decent tally, but I'd be very happy with Belhanda

To be honest I don't know enough about Bernard to say whether I would want him more of less than those two, but on the basis of knowing the other two and not knowing Bernard I'd prefer them

Montpellier will not stand in the way of star midfielder Younes Belhanda leaving the club after they received "two concrete offers," chairman Louis Nicollin said.
But Nicollin did not reveal the identities of the clubs who have shown an interest.
A post on the club's official Twitter account read: "Louis Nicollin: 'we have 2 concrete offers for Y. Belhanda with whom we are in agreement, it is up to the player to choose'." (sic).
Belhanda had been linked with Newcastle and Tottenham, as well as a clutch of big clubs across Europe.
The Morocco international finished as the deposed Ligue 1 champions' joint leading goalscorer last season with 10 goals from midfield, a tally matched by striker Souleymane Camara.
The 23-year-old also collected seven yellow and two red cards as a disappointing title defence saw Montpellier end up in ninth place, 31 points behind champions Paris Saint-Germain.
Coach Rene Girard left at the end of the season and replaced Roma-bound Rudi Garcia at Lille, with former Nancy coach Jean Fernandez taking the reigns at Montpellier.
