Conte doesn’t need £200m for players, he needs to get his team to actually play from minute one. Yes we’ve clearly got crap in the team, but elite managers are supposed to be doing better with what they have then he currently is.
Wot with Dier Sess Doc (and Son & Lloris in current form) ?!

Defensively I didn’t think we were that bad, well, the three CB’s anyway.
Doc hardly got on the ball, Sess was truly awful bar the ball through to Son in the first half and our two in midfield were totally over run.
I’m not even going to comment on Hugo though, having been a keeper I wouldn’t expect to be playing if I was him going on current form.
That first half though is probably the most abject, disjointed and passionless performance I have witnessed in years.
I don’t understand this first half nonsense though, it’s like watching two different teams, I’m not putting this on Conte either as he won’t be telling them to go and play like lamp post for the first 45 minutes as we saw it under Poch and Jose.
Players need to step up and start playing from kick off, no more of this flannel that they were ‘nervous’ or ‘cautious’ when they kicked off as I’m sick and tired of their excuses and lack of effort.

Well let’s put it this way: I could be the best chef in the world but if I’m given a tin of beans and two slices of bread and asked to make a curry, it ain’t going to happen.

But when you make beans on toast with what you have and burn the bread, that's also an issue.

All true. But who’s football would you rather watch.
Poch at Spurs to begin with was good to watch but Poch at the end and at PSG was awful. Likewise Conte last season and at Inter played good football, current Conte less so. Let's not assume Poch would bring swashbuckling.

I hate Lloris to the core.
Some may not like it here. But dont care.

He is so soft. His lack of ball kicking is awful. 2nd goal down to the idiot, not having the confidence to release the ball earlier, instead went long and gave the ball to Arsenal.

One thing that was going for him is his world class shot stopping skills - thats deserting him this season.

Lloris can fuck off to France. I would rather play Forster till end of season , if we cant get a no1 midseason
Grow up.

we got what we deserved today as we did in the away game.

But as a mate of mine said earlier, swap the two goalies and its a different result.

Ramsdale handled everything thrown at him with no fuss. Loris on the other hand, for the second NLD on the trot may as well picked up the ball and flung it into his own net.

Anyone moaning about Conte or even Loris is missing the bigger picture. It doesn’t matter who the manager is. Give Conte a new 10 year contract, or fire him in the morning…….who cares. It wont make a blind bit of difference.

The underlying problem is malaise as the club and that is down to ENIC - always buying the cheaper second and third choice (or rate) options (Rodon instead of Skrinniar is just one example), hanging on to players for years after their best days, players who wouldn’t make the bench of the clubs we are supposed to be completing with.

Sacking the manager, bringing back Poch is pointless. We could have have PEP as our manager with Klopp as his assistant , and Moses as the Kit Man and we‘d be having the same conversation in 18 months time.

ENIC didn’t throw the ball in the net today. Hugo did that, but ENIC are the reason we haven’t replaced Hugo as yet

I am not feeling the pain of losing to them like I used to. 4 seasons now of turgid defensive football. I am numb. Levy‘s appointments have gutted the club of its identity.

What bugs me greatly is if we had played the whole match like we did the second half then we probably would have won the game. And that goes for every game, if only we could put that right and then build the team. Shouldn't Conte be doing that?

Here’s the issue for me - I’ve always maintained that the main reason it’s harder for spurs to win the league is that we have too many teams that hate us , especially the London teams , Chelsea , West Ham , scum. No matter how good or bad they are they seem to turn up against us in their home games , we’ve been better than arsenal for years but they’ve never lied down at home and 99% of the time they get something out the game , today was a total embarrassment from minute 1 -45 , we barely laid a glove on them and gifted them goals , never got tight to them , half hearted pressing . I’m fuming with that display , yes we had a few chances in the second half but so did they . Much worse spurs teams have beaten better arsenal teams and today they left the lane having barely broken sweat .
