Another tiny bit of comfort we have a team that has some elite players and some shocking players which means there can be quick improvements

It's easier to get to a top level with a team like that rather than a team of 11 average players

The following 9 are good enough to be in our best 20 as long as if any don't perform they get dropped

Romero
Bentancur
Bissouma
Hojberg
Son
Kulusevski
Kane
Richarlison
Perisic

Add youngsters such as Udogie, Sarr, Gill, Skipp, Spence and bin the rest

Sack off these 16
Lloris
Forster
Doherty
Emerson
Sessegnon
Reguilon
Dier
Lenglet
Davies
Sanchez
Tanganga
Lucas
Rodon
Ndombele
Lo Celso
Winks

If there was a moment in that game that fully sums up Tottenham and the curse on our club, it was the Perisic sitter that spoons off the guys shin and hits the bar/post top bins. Just boring how often this kind of luck runs against us.

How to be Hojbjerg;

*Wave your arms around passionately*
Then put your team under pressure with a shit pass.

*Shout at a team mate*
Then let the opposition player drift into space behind you.

Repeat and add the odd *snarl at ref* when you think it appropriate after losing a 50 50 again.

Udogie in next season
I still think Bissouma could become a good player for us.

Our attacking players bar Son showed their quality and proved that we do have a lot of talent in that area of the pitch.

However, as usual the defence and goalkeeper is what costs us. Perisic makes a mistake, but you'd expect your keeper to bail you out when the shot is at the near post. Lloris' kicking is destroying our play and putting our midfield under constant pressure.

Our passing at the back is so unconvincing and while it comes off sometimes you can always expect Dier or Davies to give it away. Compare their performances to someone like Ake, who has developed into such an assured defender. There is also a reason why France/Barca have both moved a way from Lenglet and we saw that today.

Emerson had a good first half but the minute Grealish played more advance he reverted to type. It tells you everything when best wingabck is 33 and your best CB is a walking yellow card.

I'm petrified for the rest of the season. No mater how clinical Kane is, how creative Decky is and how much of a linchpin Bentancur is, our defence is costing us every game.

Can someone at least give me some quotes from an Arsenal chat forum so I can enjoy seeing them suffer due to us as well.

Its mad how often his direct opponent gets away from him once he's won initial duel isn't it.

Hopefully this galvanize City and get their season back on track before beating Arsenal by a single point for the title.

Silver lining and all that.

Lloris shot save % diving off a cliff this season.
Top standard GK averages 75% save percentage.
After City game, Lloris save percentage has dropped to a poor 65%

Probably as well as we have played all season but let down by daft mistakes.
Richy got away with giving a penalty. Lloris…..no further comment. Sonny should not be starting ahead of Richy.

Don't we play them again shortly at the Lane? That'll be 3pts closer

Sad thing is you can almost see what we could be, if we didn’t destroy ourselves.

Said it after the Arsenal game, there isn’t any game plan we can carry out without machine gunning our own tits off.
