This should be an absolute cracker of a tie. Both teams love to attack, both concede goals (even though we've tightened up in the League we have conceded a lot in this competition). I'm prediciting 2-2, plenty of action and goals. I hope it lives up to the expectation.

AC Milan are my Serie A club, but they always take a back seat to Spurs. I hope we smash them. I'm also confident we can get it done. The key imo is going to be our width. Milan tend to play with a narrow midfield and rely on their fullbacks to provide width. i fancy us to hit them on the counter.

It's just a shame Bale is out. But we can still get a result tonight and finish them off at the Lane. Its also crucial we dont concede any silly goals early as we have a few times in cup competitions. Hopefully we learned from our last trip to San Siro. I can't wait. Come on you Spurs!!!!!

The only problem i have with matches like this is i get really nervous and end up drinking really quickly, when we played inter at home i drank like a camel.

End of the day, this tie is not going to be won tonight by either side, but it could be lost if we capitulate ala Inter Milan first half. What will be fundamental is if we can take an away goal or two back to the Lane as i'm confident we can win but at this stage of the competition, tactics really come to the fore and we have to box clever.

No mate, it would not. However, it would be wrong to run down the street naked afterwards, doing the helicopter to any one you pass.

God dammit!

No just mental!

It's been said.

He'll do that anyway.

And the passers by will be damn lucky.

I don't expect, but I think we can.

We will have learned a hell of a lot since we played Inter out there. we won't be as star struck in the first 10 mins as we were.

I just have a feeling.

I also have a sneaky suspicion that a little croatian magic man will be wiping his blonde locks out of his face in the minutes approaching kick off while deciding how to orchestrate our first goal.

I love Michael Dawson but the thought of him against Zlatan Ibrahimovic is not one I enjoy a whole lot.

I'm hoping that Gallas has one of those games where he just plays out of his skin.

I'd be oddly happy with a 2-1 reverse tonight. An away goal will be crucial, and I'm confident we can 'Inter' them at the Lane.

As much as I dislike him, Andy Gray's tip are usually there or there abouts and he reckons 2-1 to them. Again, I'd be reasonably ok with that, we'd certainly have a chance back at the Lane. Bit worried about the all-out attack talk though...

key is the first 20 minutes.

we have to keep tempo high. gattuso and seedorf are past it and wont last 90 minutes if we play at our pace.

we win 2-0 tonight

I agree with that, it is important we don't concede in the first 20 minutes like we did against Inter and Young Boys. We can't always rely on our comebacks.

just hoping first and foremost that none of our players give away a penalty or get sent off, especially in the 1st half

AC Milan might be slower... but they are a very very good side and have TONS of experience.

They know how to win games like this, like Man UTD, they don't have to be at their best to get a result.

I am totally excited about this tie, but I would be more cofident if we had Bale just because of the fear factor. Just putting their FB's on the back foot mentally worrying about Bale is massive and not having him on the team sheet I fear might free them up.

Now I know we have other good players, but I just have a suspicion that AC milan will get the right result tonight, purely on the mental front and that our midfield just won't tick.

Bloody hope I am wrong though.

I've found Dawson to be very good up against Berbatov so I think he can do a good job on Ibra tonight.

This game is really going to be a team effort affair if we are to get anything out of this leg and as mattyspurs alluded to before, the fact this is our second visit to the San Siro coupled with the experience of what occurred against Inter should be a big factor in how we approach this game right from the start.

We'll need 11 captains out there, defend resolutely and try to draw them out to pick them off on the break which will be hard against an Italian side at home.

Remember though, we won our group and beat the current European champions - we should not go into this match with any fear, but that's not to say we shouldn't be smart here and try to feel our way into the game/occasion and have a platform to build on.
