It comes down to money and always will, Villa will prob pay more than us in wages because they will blow their structure to bring him in. Plus they have unai
dont forget agent fees, wouldnt be surprised if they would pay substantially more than us in that area.It comes down to money and always will, Villa will prob pay more than us in wages because they will blow their structure to bring him in. Plus they have unai
Agree but i think Villa will offer more wages than Levy would.Sureky we are above villa in the pecking order? They have awful Europe I doubt he’d want to play in Baku on a Thursday night and I would imagine london is more attractive than Birmingham
Bernardo Silva also leaving City, would love us to go for him and Laporte, could have the same effect Zinchenko and Jesus had for the arse this season.
He did for years and was fairly key to city,Can Laporte play in a high line?
I think that must have been their connection with Arteta that made the difference. Shows how much they must have rated him!Anyone who thinks Laporte couldn't possibly consider joining us should look at where Arsenal were last summer, when Zinchenko & Jesus decided to move there.
Hence why Pep changed the City goalie straight away to one who's good with the ball at his feet and can practically play a sweeper role. Is that how Celtic play?Excellent defender, great on the ball and miles better than what we have. Slight concern he might not be an ideal fit if we are playing really high. Neither he or Romero have much pace but then I guess the idea is that we’d win the ball really high up and stifle teams. Whoever the keeper is would have to be great coming out to mop up.
In fairness Arsenal still qualified for Europa League, and both players knew Arteta well from his City coaching days.Anyone who thinks Laporte couldn't possibly consider joining us should look at where Arsenal were last summer, when Zinchenko & Jesus decided to move there.
Arsenal were 5th and could offer Europa league football at the very least. We finished 8th, below Brighton and Villa.Anyone who thinks Laporte couldn't possibly consider joining us should look at where Arsenal were last summer, when Zinchenko & Jesus decided to move there.
Ironically Celtic now have the goalkeeper City replaced. Big Joe Hart.Hence why Pep changed the City goalie straight away to one who's good with the ball at his feet and can practically play a sweeper role. Is that how Celtic play?

The merits of the Scottish leagues quality have been done to death. But I imagine Hart has enough quality to do that kind of role up there, where as he’d get found out pretty quickly in one of the top leagues.Ah yeah that's true. How odd. From what I've read he ideally wants his keepers to come out and sweep.
That or they were willing to step down a level to ensure regular starts.I think that must have been their connection with Arteta that made the difference. Shows how much they must have rated him!
How many times had Arsenal qualified for the CL in recent years when they agreed to sign?Arsenal were 5th and could offer Europa league football at the very least. We finished 8th, below Brighton and Villa.
