People need to stop seeing his age

sometimes you need a player for now

United done it with Van Persie
Chelsea when they brought drobga back.

Here we go anyways

Chadli to Swansea (Spurs have a sell on fee)
Bony To Swansea (Llorente Replacement) if City do a deal at less money.
Renato Sanches (To Swansea)
Arias to Swansea (if the price drops)
Llorente to Spurs

He did have one yes that had surgery and was in a bad way, But I believe he's fit and able to train now.

He was back in training a few weeks ago. Clement said in an article that he is still rebuilding his upper body strength after a summer of immobility. He'll have the next ten days with Poch and the team to step up his recovery. I'm guessing he'll be available for Everton.

I thought most of his goals were headers, whereas we play mainly on the ground? I could be wrong. I was hoping for a younger wing forward. Maybe that's still to come.
3 with his left, 4 with his right, 8 with his head last season

Is this actually happening? Log off SC for a couple of hours and we're signing Llorente!

I like it

Considering how many corners and set pieces we get per game, I like the thought of Llorente. Also for the loads of experience he would bring. Plus hes sexy as fuck.

I'd be astounded if Chelsea let us get away with this. He's still 4/1 to join Chelsea on PP...lump on that.

Sign Llorente so Chelsea don't get him and loan Janssen to Swansea for the season. I think that Janssen could come good if he started regularly, which is more likely with Swansea than with us.

Also, being able to bring on Llorente late in games at 0-0 and having him and Kane as targets, would give us another dimension.

Really up for this now, was never against it but think he's just ideal for our young team. He knows how to win and he knows how to scrap, score and hold the ball up. Kane could still learn from him, too - imagine Kane getting even better? Surely we can't sign Aurier, Llorente, a pacy option and somebody like Gomes? Would be pretty sweet.

I'm not convinced on this. Surely less mobile than Janssen, and OLD.

I get the appeal in a PL loan for Janssen (I don't want to give up on him yet), but is Llorente really a better option?
No one is less mobile than janssen

Finally looks like we're stealing a player from under Chelseas noses for once. Should have waited for him to take a medical there first though.

Sounds like a great signing to backup Kane. Already proven in the league, I'm sure Poch knows him from his days in Spain too. I guess Janssen will be off but at least he could get regular first team football. A 32 year old striker isn't likely to demand first team football. He'll still get plenty of game time though and certainly someone who could come off the bench and get a winner.
