Buying Llorente and loaning out Janssen is a masterstroke as Janssen needs the game time to improve in this league.
yes but even if he improves he isnt going to get a game for us
seems a pretty pointless signing really, he isnt going to play much, and when kane was injured Son did really well up front

Loved him at Juve. Was worried he was past it when we signed him but turned out to be an excellent striker. Hoping he does the same again if we get him. As good a backup striker we can get, and with great experience.

Lovely position to be in. Don't sign him, hey ho we've got Janssen, just that he had a terrible first season. Do sign him, hey ho got ourselves someone who knows how to score in the Prem. Easy come easy go.

Someone mentioned that there maybe some sort of clauses now in place for exclusivity with trnfers, I don't know if that was opinion or something verified but it would make sense post Williangate. I can't see Levy making the same mistake twice. And this was all discussed with Sanchez and Utd and Aurier and Chelsea, and both signed for us.

I think we have a deal that we have first refusal on a player whose surname begins with a double L.

Also worth bearing in mind, 3rd choice at Chelsea (behind Morata + Batshuayi) or 2nd choice at Spurs (Behind Kane ahead of Janssen).

And that's on the assumption that Costa is 100% leaving Chelsea.

Would he be 3rd choice at Chelsea though? Conte obviously wants him and rarely played Batshuayi.

Dunno, but he's been playing Bat a bit more since end of last season and over pre season so maybe he Bat is second choice. Nevertheless it's not as clear cut second choice as it would be for us.

Pretty sure he'd be a more of a threat to Moratta than he will be to Harry Kane so I think it more than that, if this goes through I have absolutely no doubt that he will be starting games and not just cup games.
He is, and has proved to be, trustworthy in Premier League games and that is the importance of this deal if it goes through.

If we sign Llorente and sell Janssen to a PL team you just know that Janssen will score against us.
