Spurs have signed John Bostock from Crystal Palace. Not sure if there has been anything on this before but I can say that he will be joining us.

This is a major coup for Spurs as he chased by all the big clubs.

Passed on in good faith. If you want to check the source, the admins can PM me

There was a piece somewhere, can't remember if it was ITK or a newspaper, claiming we were interested a few weeks ago.

Sounds like a cracking prospect so it's very good if true.

There was a bit about this kid on here a few weeks back about him joining us so I believe in what your saying, great signing, wasn't Barca interested in him aswell. A future England international if you believe in all the hype about this kid.

Everything I've read about this kid has been positive. However, I hope this isn't true, as he refused to join my Sutton United team on loan on Football Manager :-(

Bah, I'm sure he deserves a second chance :)

*crosses fingers*

does indeed sound like a hot prospect, just hope he doesn't slip into the same bracket as so many other "next big thing" 15 year olds that have been touted in the last few years.

the kid's listed as a striker on the Palace website, dob 13.10.91

But Wiki have him down as an attacking midfielder, dob 15.01.92

I'd trust Palace over wiki though.

Nope...for that sort of behaviour he deserves death.

Anyway where does this chap play? Always good to keep the youth coming through.

"His position will be central midfield, where he can dictate things and decide when to get things going. He has a good touch and good vision but I will have to tell him to cut out the showboating."

Warnock quoted in the mail article

I bought him on champ manager, cost me £5million at the age of 16, he's pushing for a first team place already and i'm 1st in the league at xmas. He's and attacking midfielder/forward for me.

This quote just screams of everything that is wrong with England players. Skill & showboating should be encouraged as part of an all round game.

Lennon will get crocked in the first league fixture and this lad will come on a sub and get an England call-up by Capello at the World Cup Finals squad, but won't play.

I've seen him for England at youth level. Very talented on the ball, and sweet left foot. I'm fairly sure he can play CM and LM, and he's very fast (see quote below). Signing him is a real coup for the club, especially since he seems like a smart and sorted lad.

Neil McGregor, deputy head teacher and head of PE at the Nautical School in Blackfriars, said: 'He has a lot of humility, he's very honest and there is no danger of him ever becoming a Big Time Charlie. His feet are firmly on the ground and we're very proud of him.
"He is very good academically — an A star pupil without question — and he has university potential if he decides to go down that route. He is gifted athletically and he could be an international sprinter — he holds the record for the Lambeth Schools 110metre hurdles."

PS Simon Jordan & Neil Warnock must be gutted.

Would be an excellent signing. We are getting in plenty of young talent, I hope we develop them and give them the chance.

sounds a bit like walcott or bale. both seem like good, clever lads with their heads screwed on.
