That point gives us the capacity to finish on 71 points if we win out the last three. Chelsea are on 67 with three games left and are in iffy form. One of their three games is home to Watford which even they will probably win. The other two are much trickier Leeds away and Leicester at home and they could lose those if they are not at it. That point could be poison to them and golden for us.
It's a close run thing, but I'd rather see Arsenal miss out than Chelsea.

Because the header was telegraphed by PEHs body shape. But even if he went for the header it was not an easy chance as he was running backwards
Personally I don’t think people take into account the spin of the ball and how that can affect the direction of the header. An example would be Sessègnon clearance That lloris had to save

Just watched us again on Motd. Our defenders really did put everything on the line yesterday. What a performance.

Controversial opinion. I find that kind of performance much more pleasing than tippy tappy possession that doesn’t go anywhere ala AVB or Nuno.

I have absolutely no issue with us playing defensively when we need to.

I just watched motd too - more sober head this morning. Brilliantly defended by us throughout. As someone else pointed out: three shots from 27(?) were the only ones on target… bet they’re all aching like buggery this morning… I went into the game thinking we could nick it… but, really, getting such a well fought result at anfield is brilliant

Looks like I'm out on the ale again today.
My Liverpool supporting friends have been betting me pints all week, and of course, when betting on Spurs playing away, I ask that they give me the draw, as I always do when we play at home.

Told most of them a fortnight ago that their season ends 10 p.m Saturday night. :D

I had said to all my end on Tuesday that the quadruple would be done Saturday at 9.45pm. I got loads of abuse about us being legends etc, Kane leaving, Son being overrated.

This was my message in the WhatsApp group last night.

A few nuggets from said WhatsApp this morning. You'd swear Robertson and Fabinho were saints and did nothing wrong.

He doesn't even think Fabinho did anything wrong last night. He went ballistic when Fabinho got booked last night!

Great Drama, Great Defence, Great Performance, Great Result.
I said before the game who would turn up the boys or the men. Well they were giants everyone of them and it took a fluky deflection to beat them.
COME ON LEEDS YOU CAN DO THIS!!!!

I don't know how Fabinho got away with the two poor challenges in the first half but this text (after he was finally booked) made me chuckle on the BBC website

Ben Jones: Fabinho needs to be careful here. Another 5 cynical fouls and he'll be sent off.

Reckon all I'm going to hear today is how they dominated us. Totally ignoring the fact that they only had 3 shots on target, same as us.

Pint please.
