Is it just me that can't wait for tonight? I wanna watch any Spurs game, regardless of which competition it is!

Unfortunately I can't see any positive outcome to this match, other than maybe a few of the youngsters getting more minutes.
We don't play well when we face an opponent that plays our game.
Our passing is all over the place when teams close us down.
It happened against Liverpool the first time around and it happened against Bournemouth on Saturday.
They will be in our faces right from the off.
Prediction: 2-0 or 3-0 defeat

Couldn't decide whether to take up the offer of a free ticket in a box tonight. You've just made my mind up.

I'm looking forward to the game, hope to see players like CCV, Wimmer, N'Koudou, Winks, Onomah put in the kind of performances that make Poch's decisions for league games harder.

Really hoping N'Koudou shows that he can add some pace and trickery that we could use as an impact sub against teams that are sitting back waiting to be unlocked.

It pleases me that so many people are writing off our chances. Having accepted the enevitable, this thread has a whiff of a chance of being fairly vitriol free during the game.

Who am I kidding? :p

I can't see any reason for not starting Wimmer, N'Koudou, Winks and Onomah from the start. I suspect Dier will still start CB as Poch likes to keep a consistent presence in the back 4.

Either way I'm looking forward to the game without much expectation apart from seeing us give it a good go.

I guarantee that if we beat them, pundits and pool fans alike will gloss over it being our youth team. Vice versa if they win. I'm hoping our kids can put on a good show and if they can't win, can at least cause them multiple problems and run them close.

Fuck me, when did Liverpool's second team become Barcelona?

You fuckers are morbid.

There is no way Liverpool don't play their starting XI in this match.

As much as this cup isn't of massive importance, it's the one when before you know it you're in the semis already and you start actually thinking about winning it. Would love to get a trophy this season to mark our development, even if it is just this one.

Well, their first choice keeper isn't going to play and their captain is out and several sources such as the printed media and SSN are suggesting otherwise too, so i'm going to go out on a limb and say you might possibly be wrong :D

It'll still be a strong side though I reckon. No Europe will help.

yeah i agree. i'm fairly sure all of them will start. i have a feeling the team will be all the back up defenders. centre mid will be winks and one other, up top will be janssen and i guess nkoudou, onomah and perhaps eriksen or lamela just for that little bit of experience. In all honesty it wont be a terrible team but will be lacking a lot of experience and first team fitness.

I think we have a better chance than people are making out, that having said I think we will lose 2-1

There's very little difference between their first & second choice 'keepers, unlike ours...
