not sure we will play that either
I think we will but wouldnt be surprised if we dont.
not sure we will play that either
I don't want to turn this into a big Royal debate, but that just isn't true at all. This forum isn't a fair representation of the UK as a whole. Sure you will have pockets of people who DGAF but the UK is very traditionalist and its very blinkered to think more people would rather go to a football match and forget about the head of state passing.
I bet they will as we are supposed to play it the day before lolUefa will award the points to Lisbon if we don't play on Wednesday.
Uefa won't care about wanting it postponed.

More gutted for the women's side than the men's. They were meant to play at the stadium, weren't they?
Hope they manage to play the rescheduled game there too but that might be hard.
And I think that is partly why they have cancelled the games. It is the respectful thing to do in my opinion.
I'm not sure why people are so annoyed that it has been cancelled. Just go and do something else instead. That's what I will do, I'll just get on with life. It's only football.
Ah well, it's only..............But I hate that line its only football. Its clearly a big part of our lives.
Chances are that if Mase is saying this then Conte likely shares the same opinion. In which case, I’m fine with the City game getting postponed, they had more rest than us. Hope the Leicester game goes ahead next weekend though.
I'm certain we will. I doubt uefa will accommodate. Frankly, the official guidance suggests that games shouldn't be suspended this weekend anyway.not sure we will play that either
Agreed, and I don’t think jt was a terrible time to play them with Walker and Laporte out. We haven’t massively missed out on an opportunity though imo. If you were a Villa fan you’d be annoyed as you’ve likely missed out on playing Leicester before Rodgers is sacked. We could still be in the same situation when the game gets rescheduled tho.
Fair enough, maybe the "small pockets" wasn't the correct terminology.I don't want to turn this into a big Royal debate, but that just isn't true at all.
We've done studies on this and it absolutely isn't small pockets of people. It's around 40% of the population.
Exactly this. Now everyone’s just sat at home rather than coming together. She had a horse running today at Epsom. Imagine the tribute that would of been.. Stadiums full belting out the national anthem all weekend. Opportunity missed I thinkGreat North Run goes ahead as planned on Sunday. I'm sure it will be a special and respectful event.
Imo if the games weren't called off we would have had a weekend of tributes that would have lasted long in the memory.
