Just seen the second again, whilst Dier clearly fucked up the press on Allison from Kane & Perisic was a joke.

Emerson is consistently shit, and shouldn’t be anywhere near the starting XI.

Kulu showed in 81 seconds what we’ve been missing.

Benty and Bissouma had great games.

We continue to find ways to make unforced individual errors (normally Hugo or Dier) against the big sides, and they’re almost always punished.

We let another game against Liverpool that we deserved more from, slip by.

The ‘fans’ booing at half time at home anytime we’re not in the lead, need a reality check. Not all score lines are created equal, and booing doesn’t help the players gain confidence, or intimidate the opposition.

Transfer window is coming up, we’ve got no money issues so should end it stronger. We’re top 4 when the World Cup finishes, and last 16 of CL to enjoy. Some of the teams with momentum (arsenal, Newcastle) will hopefully lose that with the prolonged break.

'Absolutely battered for forty five minutes' is a bit creative. But frankly whether we played well or shite I'm tired of losing to Liverpool.

So am I but you said it was "fairly straightforward" which was, you know, completely false. The second half was the best we've played as a collective against Liverpool since the Wembley 4-1.

I’m in Block 251 and the atmosphere in the first half was dismal. So many man babies swearing and chucking the C bomb at all our players.

We were poor 1st half, seemed to be outnumbered all over the pitch and then Dier had a brain fart BUT I’m sick and tired of the drunken/coked up hard men all around me.

Get behind the team ffs!

Yup twats everywhere

The problem with complaining about time wasting is that we have done exactly the same. At least, in the dim and distant past when we actually had leads to protect.

When you are always giving teams a start and something to protect then this is what happens.
When Newcastle time wasted against Liverpool 8 minutes added on.

when Newcastle time wasted against us - leading to a RECORD low amount of actual play (53 minutes) the ref added on 5 minutes.

Today the ref added 4 minutes. The standard time added on for any second half ever. This despite clear time wasting which went unpunished for an entire half.

timekeeping in football is a disgrace and the sooner a stop clock is added the better. I the meantime the refs for our games versus Liverpool and Newcastle should have very hard questions asked of them...

It's getting worse every week. Like an entire stadium full of SergeantMeatCurtains booing the house down.

It's dispiriting for fans let alone the players ffs

Don't know what it is with us. I highlighted earlier that Pool went to utd this season, Martinez went through Salah in his first show for the ball, clattered him and Salah didn't want to known after that. But they come to our home ground and we just stand off these players and we actually encourage them to run at us. It just crazy.

Really annoyed me too. You'd swear Salah was royalty the space he got. Needed Romero out there to kick him

I'm more than happy to see AC stay here and build the squad he needs to actually challenge over the next few windows.

I'm just not sure he is.

His pressers and the fact he keeps talking about time and patience give me confidence that he is but that he’s holding his cards close to his chest until he knows we will continue to back him as needed now that he’s been at the club longer and realises what is needed to close the gap.

Not convinced by all the posts criticising the booing and complaining. It’s not ideal, for sure, but I’m paying 1400 for my season ticket. I’m still travelling home with soaking wet feet. It’s easy to criticise from your couch.

Most of the people expressing their dismay at the "support" are people, like me, who are season ticket holders and are experiencing the deterioration of our home support week in, week out.

WHL was never a "cauldron" but we had passion and humour. Now it's increasingly just resentful sarcastic entitled twats who think paying for a ticket gives them the right to slag off our players from kick off. It's like the match threads but in person. It's hideous.

Had to stop my mate from twatting some entitled gobshite because as I pointed out "We have season tickets to lose" - this prick will be back on SC or TFC next week with yet another list of the 8 players Levy has to sell in January while furiously masturbating at the thought of being bought by some oil slave nation....

Anyway - we played well tonight. :shifty:

Well, recency bias I guess. But we deserved at least 1 point today, and 3 points in both games last season. That’s 5 points dropped in three games.
I think a draw would have been a fair result today. I thought we played really well in parts and I enjoyed the game a lot but not the result of course.

We didn't lose today just because of the Dier mistake, our finishing was woeful and we missed enough clear-cut chances to turn that round and win convincingly.

I guess Dier got an assist for Mo's goal?

The gift that just keeps on giving.

Southgate would be a mug to take him.
