That fans are turning , it felt very toxic in the stadium today . Conte needs to get us through Wednesday night and have us in and around 4th when the World Cup comes around otherwise I can’t see the fans staying behind him and the team . I want to back the manager but when I’m sitting there 2-1 down and looking for some inspiration, I see Davies and Doherty coming on . This is not Tottenham . Lastly , there is not a worse footballing teams in this league at keeping the ball , it feels like if we don’t get Sonny in on a one on one or a set piece , we are not going to score . It’s very sad to watch this team at the moment .

The reality is & has been for years the quality of the squad, Lloris (good shot stopper but all round game is weak imo) for our captain he makes far too many mistakes, Emerson, Doherty, Sanchez, Dier, Tanganga, Lenglet, Davies, Sessegnon, Moura etc, they are simply not good enough, Davies is the one I’d keep in the squad but that’s it. Yes there’s some “honest pros” in that group but the reality is not good enough, & it’s evidently obvious against the better teams

I wouldn't be confident even if we had unlimited funds in January to buy the right players. To me it seems that Conte is only interested in defence minded players even in midfield. This side is crying out for at least 2 creative players that can create opportunities for our front two and can pass a ball to their team mates. The passing in this side is diabolical if we actually manage three before we lose it it's a miracle. I look at sides with a lot less financial clout than us and many of them play a quick precise passing game that we seem totally unable to do. We had a serial winner in Mourinho but his methods seemed outdated is Conte's also. It will be interesting to watch what he does over the next few weeks but he doesn't strike me as somebody who is prepared to change his style of play.

Not where I’m sat in the south stand they’re not. Nobody is complaining about the manager. They’re pissed off with shit players.

Just seen this again. I yelled at the TV when it happened, now all I can do is laugh.

That's a good sequence of play to highlight. Our players love a safe option for a pass. Even to this bizarre extent. And some argue this is what 'controlling' the game looks like.

Can't waste chances and get positive results with this team, there's just too many mistakes waiting to happen. It's like a lucky dip of who's fuck up is gonna cost us a goal this week.
Not enough quality, creativity or speed either. Barely looked like equalizing in the final half hour.

Thats the spurs ive been watching for the last 10 seasons..

What did Lenglet do that was so bad that everyone seemingly wants him gone already?
He got skinned by Almiron - other than that thought he was fairly decent. He actually showed Almiron on the outside then Loris came out and threw himself on the floor instead of standing up and making the target small.

Bentancur was our best player again. Kane was OK, Skipp and Bissouma were OK. Everyone else was utter dross. I think we have to be realistic, we have maybe 8 players that would get in the squads of the other big teams. Kane, Son, Bentancur, Kulusevski, and maybe Bissouma, Romero, PEH Richarlison. The rest are basically cack.
I think Bissouma will come good, he wasn’t ready at the start of the season, it’s still early on for him in this side.

We've been here so many times before. Something feels familiar that it's the beginning of the end of conte

Indeed, look at Newcastle — Howe is getting the best out of former dross like Almiron, Joelinton etc. they’ve added quality but they still have Dan burn and Schar at CB…
Don't talk like this. This shows managers can do their job and make players play better. It goes completely against the Conte supporters. You will start getting some supporters say Burn and Schar are the players to deliver the league title next season and are huge upgrades on what we have.

Who has the better squad, Tottenham or Newcastle? How many of those Newcastle players would you take into our starting line up?

In the summer when Arsenal made their signings, plenty of fans were laughing at those signings. Has our squad now declined so much in the last 3 months that the the narrative is Arsenal have the better squad, and so do Newcastle?

2nd goal.

You’re supposed to close the space and then stay close to the attacker to block the shot/tackle.

Lenglet stood off the attacker and then lunged in letting him skip past.

School boy 101 mistake.
