Marin would add competition for Lennon and bale and we do need another forward. Lisandro Lopez for me

We definately need someone to press Lennon, specially after watching his game against Man U and his shocking decisions when in good attacking options.
Marin would be great, Pedro Leon is an option on loan from Real Madrid but wouldnt consider him competition for Lennon and I dont think Affellay is available, although he's hardly going to play this season at Barcelona.
Marin would be the choice for me.

What position does this Falque play? I know it says midfield but where?

"More of a 4-2-3-1 style winger than a genuine wide, pacey 4-4-2 winger".

I know he has been dog for a few years but if Harry could workhis fabled magic and get Joe Cole back to his best that would be a nice option to have.

Lot of ifs though

Still wouldn't be good enough to get close to our midfield atm.

The quicker Cole, Parker, Bellamy and Barton sign for bottom half/championship sides, the sooner I'll be able to sleep easy.

Delighted with Adebayor. Diarra next. Rossi and Cahill/Tacsi before deadline day :hump:

French class usually beats English passion and it does in this argument. Diarra is more of a Spurs player, I would much rather we paid the premium and he's younger.

"more of a Spurs player"? explain please.
Parker, for an English DM, has got more than his fair share of class.

Things are looking up, now to that elusive yellow and that 'holy crap' player mentioned earlier. Can't be bothered to guess, just more chilled things are happening.

Parker better than Diarra? No way. Parker would NEVER get in to Real Madrid.

So Scott Parker is better than Diarra? How comes he's still at Spam?

Wages? Age?

You tell me where Diarra has shown himself to be a better all round player than Parker?

Don't get me wrong I like Diarra, I like Sandro more, and I also think that Diarra is the better signing and would suit the way we play more, but in a strict comparison, Parker has almost everything.

If anything, Parker's biggest fault is that he is an all round mid as opposed to a positional specialist and I think that is what held him back at Chelsea. The top teams just don't play systems in which all round players like that excel. He isn't a better holding mid than say Makalele was, or a better atacking mid than Lampard, but he is a better all round player than either.

Parker is a winner, Diarra hasn't shown that yet. Like I say, I think Diarra would be a great signing for us and would rather we signed him than Parker any day, I like Sandro more than either of them though.

That boy is a future captain of Brazil. Absolute superstar in the making.
