Osvaldo sounds like a bit of a disruptive twat. Not sure we need that.
Yeah! Sod Osvaldo - being the disruptive twat is my job!

If I was GB I'd be delaying any new contract until the club proved we could meet his ambitions. That's what worries me most about our lack of a striker so far.
Lets hope this week sees some positive news on both fronts.
I kind of agree with the Lewis dipping his hand in his pocket, however you don't become a billionaire in the investment market by splashing cash around willy nilly on footballers. And lest not forget he is the 308th richest person in the world, IN THE WORLD!
Since Lewis took over the club have been on an upward curve, no doubt about it. Could you have seen us fighting the top boys 10 or so years ago when they came in? So whilst we have gone up (league wise) have a new shiny training ground, new stadium on the way, all this WHILST balancing the books and making some profit, why would he change how we spend? Although on the flip side of that, a couple of Stella signings could "almost" guarantee champs league which the money coming in from that (TV money/sponsorships/exposure etc...) would offset that.
However he is the business billionaire so I'm sure he (and Levy) realises all that!
Off topic so apologies!
An agent might get 20% of his signing on fee but there is no way a player would agree to that percentage of his wages unless he was told to do so by the person that looks after his affairs.......oh hang on a minute
I think that'll be Lennons jobYep re chadli. The high quality back up winger we've been wanting on here for about 2 years!
Lamela cost Roma around £20m. Do you honestly believe they will flog a player who has performed so well with them without trying to make atleast £10m profit?
You need to ask yourself this question and whether it fits into our budget before making these kind of statements.
I suspect once you have considered these points you will understand why Bernard is a more realistic target.
Punch him in the side of the head for me. Ta.My cousin is a football agent, I'm gonna check out how this stuff works with him. He has some high profile names on his books (no spurs players I'm afraid though!) he should be able to clear this up.
Some v mixed ITK, both Ryantegan and Atlanta seem to suggest big money to spend, JJ and Yideo sticking the brakes on and stating we have a limited budget (though what limited is I don't know).
Levy is a shrewd operator so I guess no one really knows the budget. If a club smells money and the fact we want a striker the price goes up, so I hope we have a few irons in the fire, but it would good to commit to one.
If that means our interest in Bernard is up and only look at spending similiar on a CF then you can hardly blame Bale when he next year questions our ambitions, for me if we were waiting to hear on Bernard before going for plan B surely we wouldn't be signing plan B till after the 24th July, hoping its both because we got buyers for a few of our fringe players.
Here's hoping.Maybe we are going for chadli because we are planning a big outlay for CF, Soldado anyone? .....

Exactly. Bale will make a decision about his career based on what's best for him anyway, not THFC. The club will do exactly the same. Anything else would be futile and if done incorrectly, dangerous.I'd hope a professional footballer would base his judgment on ambition on performances, rather than names. He's not a video game playing child, after all.
Bernard is a huge outlay for a player with barely 2 full seasons under his belt. He may fail, he may get injured immediately, he may do all sorts of things (as might Chadli, or Bale himself) - the name and the price is no indication of ambition. It's a results game.
