All we know is.
Got sent off and chatted shit to the ref
Costa, check. Vardy, check
Accepted FA charge.
Costa, check, Vardy, check.
Asked for personal hearing.
Costa, check. Vardy, check.
Got an extra match ban.
Costa, check. Vardy...
News of Costa's extra ban was not made public until the day after his personal appeal
Vardy's hearing took place today.

Leicester striker Jamie Vardy to miss Manchester United game after being hit
with one-match ban for referee rant

Jamie Vardy will miss Leicester City's crucial game at Manchester United after being hit with an additional one-match ban by the Football Association.

Vardy has also been fined £10,000 after his attempts to avoid an extra suspension were thrown out by an independent regulatory commission at Wembley on Monday.

At least he can't be on the pitch to see them win the league. I would be gutted if that was me.

True, but I have a feeling Utd will beat them and they'll win it at home against Everton.

I'm going to have a to avoid all media for a while if/when they win it. Don't think I can stand the fairy tale stuff. It will be relentless. Wouldn't surprise me if they declare a national holiday.

Will he get an additional ban?! Of course he won't.

Wasn't for language though, it was for failure to leave the pitch.
I don't remember any instance where a referee has stood up to a player and issued a yellow card for language - ever...

Why would they charge him if they aren't going to punish?
If the FA read the ref's report there was clearly enough in it to charge him with an offence. A precedent was set with the Costa punishment earlier in the season, so the FA have to be seen to follow it.

Won't make any difference now unfortunately.

Well it didn't last weekend anyway. Leicester have more important players than Vardy. It's a shame Kante or Mahrez weren't out for long spells this season. They certainly would've struggled.
