I really hope its Cahill and not Samba. Cahill and Dawson would be an amazing partnership, both contenders to start for England. And we'd always have Kaboul, Gallas amd King when fit.
If Cahill comes, id expect Bassong to go.

What has Parker won?
I agree that Diarra would make a better signing than Parker. I do think Diarra is a little bit overrated, but I don't think Parker is all that great either. I think he suits a mid-table team at best really.
