Enjoyed that. Carroll, Winks & Onomah all showed they deserve to be in the squad this season and playing EL football. Would expect them all to be playing cup football for us this season and it's not beyond the realm of possibility that any of them force their way into the starting line up. Exciting times.

Still think this shows we're a DM and winger/forward short. Berahino and Bender would finish off our squad nicely

What game did you watch? Onomah was awful and is nowhere near ready.

Yes team sheet sorry. but I'm just telling you what was said by a French commentator so tell me no nonsense either that tells me VA CHIER !

FUCK OF!!

You've instantly become my favourite poster. I'd suggest said commentator had consumed too much wine, not a hope in hell Harry is playing for United this Saturday and I'll eat my own shit if he goes for £40m

Why do I get the feeling that people think that when we play well/win, it is because the other team was bad, and when we play badly/lose, it's because we were shit?

What on earth would would a French commentator know?

Ignore it and all talk of him being linked to manure is punishable by death.

enjoyed that. trippier's crosses from deep were great, and he really gets up and down the wing. Great buy.

thght lamela looked a bit stronger and didnt run into as many blind alleys.

im not sure i want us to buy a new CDM, id like to see more of winks and alli. The speed and accuracy with which the former passes is wht we need along side bentaleb imo. Onomah looks a player too. Midfield we are well and truly sorted for years.

Dier was pretty poor imo. Lacks awareness. Very odd seeing there.

Onomah and Winks both look legit as fuck...both just generally good footballers with good brains. Playing simple combinations, making the right runs, making good decisions. Liked both of them a lot. They're players that even out of position can do a job because they are intelligent guys. That goes for Carroll as well, but we all knew that.

I was glad to see Bentaleb playing better today. He's been sloppy in the televised preseason games but today he looked much more tidy. Trippier is awesome...not the athlete that Walker is but a smarter player who has more of a range in what he can do with the ball at his feet.

Thought strangely that Lamela looked okay up front. His movement is really good, and he worked really hard in spite of playing a lot yesterday too. He worked the channels a lot and was pretty tireless. As an added bonus when he's up front he doesn't get on the ball enough to give it away constantly :p

I know Milan are shit but it was a promising game...I love how many quick thinking players we've got in the squad now.
