Do you think that Suarez would have scored more than a goal a game for us like he is doing for the Bin Dippers? That after missing the first six games? We have never had a prolific goal machine since Greaves and Allen, and certainly not since the PL was formed, and that looks like continuing for the foreseeable future.

I'm not bothered about a prolific goal machine. I want a proper forward and goals from serveral positions. The problem with what you have said is that Soldado was signed solely as a goalscorer, a goal machine if you like. If he can't offer that, he shouldn't be here because the rest of his game isn't good enough for this level.

Thing is, we can't afford to slip up like this if Liverpool are going to be dicking us 5-0.

We have to at least be beating the teams below us, since we're incapable of beating the teams above us.

The Clubs Chairman made a management adjustment to help ensure that doesn't' happen again. Not losing to teams below us is what is required, and beating them (away) a bonus. Over a full season Tim is heading for a 72 point total (IF my math is correct). I'd have taken that at the start of this season, with seven new players to blood plus the loss of that Welsh kid.

I think a lot of these points being made don't bear much weight (for more than enough reasons) partly because most were mainly questioning the use of Bentaleb, as opposed to some of the bigger and wider concerns in; Lennon, Soldado, Eriksen and the others.

Tim's really got his work cut out trying to get some semblance of a team and whilst when AVB arrived everyone supposedly were willing to write off the season for the good of progression, this quite clearly would never have been the case and certainly less so with Tim.

I'm afraid the problem here is not the formation or the personal but the fact we're continually changing our manager, and the fans are the worst when it comes to applying this pressure.

The Premier League: where La Liga no-marks like Michu star too. Horses for courses. You comparing La Liga to to the Eridivisie now?

Soldado may never make it over here, but to dismiss his record over there is folly.

Well there's been a lot on here today dismissing Defoe, but he scored a hattrick at Hull when we won 5-1 :)

Bet Brenda was saying the same thing after getting flounced 3-1 a few weeks back.

With Townsend and Sandro to come back into the side what i want is to read less bullshit from fickle fans who let's face it wouldn't be happy with Messi playing for us unless he chucked in a hat-trick every other week.

Livermore is as important to them as Ruel Fox was to us. I mean do you truly think that Livermore that bastion of talent would have made a shits difference when faced with Paulinho and Bentaleb? Really.
How on earth is saying this was a bad result fickle? And Livermore is one of their first Xi players. Losing one of those players weakens any team regardless of that players ability - it disrupts the team. If they aren't weaker without him - why the fuck does he play? Your argument makes no sense. I'll say it again, this was a terrible result. Final score and performance.

And as for Ruel Fox. Who would come in for Spurs if Ruel Fox was injured? Back then I don't remember us being blessed with options - hence the need to play someone like Ruel Fox.

My point was not kneejerk bullshit, it was based on frustration because of another bad performance and that we seem to be going backwards. If you don't like reading an honest opinion of our game then why log on? What's it to you if I'm losing my shit over this? Guess what, everything is not rosy. I'm getting tired of this "there's always next week" defeatism. I can't for the life of me work out if Tim is a genuinely smart tactical and media savvy operator. Or a bozo. Genuinely. Saying he was in anyway happy with that nonsense we served up today...Christ.

How cool would of it been if we could of brought on Berbatov today....the quality and composure to score or set up a winner I reckon.

I cannot be bothered to look the stats up but even when Bale was here our midfield including Lennon, and even going back to Bentley scored fuck all. How many has Townsend scored?, Chadli, or whoever you want to name. Goals "from several positions" ain't going to happen with the players that we currently have on the wings, or from the attacking midfield. That my friend is a nailed on one hundred percent fact. The history of this club, and goal differences over the past five season should tell you that.

We should have sold Bale, fuck buying seven players and gone all in on one of the Carlos-Kick-A-Balls that Monaco or Man Citeh brought.

I am scrambling away trying to find your oh so negative post after our win at Man Ure............buggered if i can see it anywhere. As i say, you need to go support a team that never loses and sweeps all before them. The Blue side of Manchester would be a good start for you.

Your opinion may be "honest" it's the sense that just doesn't add up i am afraid to say.

Anyway keep putting the World to rights..................

How cool would it have been, if Tim would have used his brain and made some subs today?
