Nice graphic, wonder if the fact that Draxler isn't in the Schalke picture is a cryptic ITK.

Going and looking forward to this. Will be good to see how we go against a decent team at last (although my West Ham supporting brother said they looked a poor outfit vs. them at the weekend and reckons we shouldn't have a problem against either team over the next couple of weekends...).

Hopefully Drax and Höwedes will be back for the match, will be really intriguing. Schalke are definitely a team who like to dominate possession, and Bayern and Real seem to have been the only teams in the last two or so years who've had more of the play against them, which includes trips away to Arsenal. So finally we'll see what Pochettino's Tottenham looks like in terms of retaining shape and breaking on the opponent.

Sidney Sam is out which is a huge blow, for me anyway, as I was looking forward to seeing him, but nevertheless, will be good to see Choupo-Moting. Aside from the injuries, I'd expect all the team's main stars to at least make an appearance, especially given the Bundesliga will be starting only two weeks afterwards. A few of the youngsters will probably get a run out too, including Multhaup, Sobottka, Borgmann, and recent u19 champions Friedrich and Itter. The one to watch out for though, is Donis Avdijaj, who everyone is raving about in Gelsenkirchen - said to be a better prospect than Meyer, Goretzka and even Draxler, and has been scoring for fun in the youth leagues. Last season he got more goals than games, and he could even make an appearance or two in the Pokal/Bundesliga this year even at the age of 17.

Yeah, the friendlies haven't been anything to get excited about, but it's a settled team with a settled manager - there's nothing for them to worry about, it's just about fitness and giving a few youngsters some first team experience. I fully expect Spurs to win on Saturday given Pochettino will want to see a good showing from the players and there's a lot of players who will want to show what they can do with squad places up for grabs. Will still be a good experience in terms of playing a different style of opponent though

Have seen Paulinho and Dembele in pics on the official FB page. Think the WC players will get a run in this match

German teams tend to do very well in friendlies and the only club we've played that had any motivation against us (Seattle - yes I know that was our first game, pitch, etc) got a draw and opened us up a lot. I wouldn't be that confident of a win here.

Schalke lost to West Ham and Newcastle haha, I'm hoping for a score draw, but expecting a Spurs win

What I would love to see:

--------------------- Lloris -------------------
Walker --- Kaboul --------- Verts --- Davies
----------- Capoue -------- Dembele -------
-- Lamela --------- Eriksen ---------- Chadli
-------------------- Adebayor ---------------

I want to see what Poch could view as a potential XI for West Ham, but I'm really curious to see how Dembele might look in this system. Also, Chadli. I think we really need him to step up and I like him in this system. I've said it before, but if Poch can get Steven Davis to look like a respectable footballer, he should be able to work wonders on Chadli.
