Beware all the family stuff in front of the stadium is off on saturday.

"All scheduled outdoor activities on Saturday have been cancelled due to the forecast inclement weather conditions." from OS.

Does that mean the game as well?... All outdoor activities!!!

German teams tend to do very well in friendlies and the only club we've played that had any motivation against us (Seattle - yes I know that was our first game, pitch, etc) got a draw and opened us up a lot. I wouldn't be that confident of a win here.
Newcastle just beat them 3-0, but...

Result is not importance, playing football is and improving the understanding between players.

Balls..... Taking the kids and we were planning on getting there around 4pm for some of the activities.
Guess that means more time on the Eye, Aquarium and Dungeons then!

Hopefully Drax and Höwedes will be back for the match, will be really intriguing. Schalke are definitely a team who like to dominate possession, and Bayern and Real seem to have been the only teams in the last two or so years who've had more of the play against them, which includes trips away to Arsenal. So finally we'll see what Pochettino's Tottenham looks like in terms of retaining shape and breaking on the opponent.

Sidney Sam is out which is a huge blow, for me anyway, as I was looking forward to seeing him, but nevertheless, will be good to see Choupo-Moting. Aside from the injuries, I'd expect all the team's main stars to at least make an appearance, especially given the Bundesliga will be starting only two weeks afterwards. A few of the youngsters will probably get a run out too, including Multhaup, Sobottka, Borgmann, and recent u19 champions Friedrich and Itter. The one to watch out for though, is Donis Avdijaj, who everyone is raving about in Gelsenkirchen - said to be a better prospect than Meyer, Goretzka and even Draxler, and has been scoring for fun in the youth leagues. Last season he got more goals than games, and he could even make an appearance or two in the Pokal/Bundesliga this year even at the age of 17.
Holy shit he scored 44 goals last season, more than anyone else in the other leagues

Expect a comfortable win. My girlfriend is from Gelsenkirchen so we watch alot of Schalke games. They are not a very impressive team at the moment.

What's going on with Draxler?

Well, he just played at the World Cup, which Germany won. The he went on holiday with his friends to Ibiza, and with his girlfriend to the USA. He cut his holiday allowance 3 days short to rejoin training, and is seemingly going to feature on Saturday.

What's going on with you, pal? :)

Don't call me pal, buddy! :p

I meant more with regards to transfer, there was loads of talk since January but since June it's been rather quiet until the last couple of days and quotes from a Bild interview started doing the rounds.

I'm looking forward to seeing him in action at the weekend though

He said he's not looking to move this summer. He turned down a move to Arsenal in January, and judging by his comments in a recent S04 interview, he didn't really get any offers this summer, or at least none which activated his release clause (which he said he's not surprised about) and he's really keen to make a big impression this year
