Yeah I just saw the piece on SSN. The reporter says the official reason is an ankle injury or something, but he also went on to say Spurs are favourites but Rovers have yet to receive an official bid for him.

According to the lady reporter 5live have at the Blackburn friendly, her contacts who are close to Bentley say his heart is set on returning to North London and he's convinced Tottenham is the next step for him.

I've got a feeling Villa will do a west ham for bent and bid well over the odds. I think the lure of London will persuade him here. Football wise i don't see us beeing that much better then the villa

Possibly because we're talking to him right now? :shrug: It's the classic denial from a manager to try and shift the attention from the player. Never works though.

Either something huge is brewing or it's all just a load of pants - can't quite work out which one yet!
