Did we play 352?
Sorry 3-4-3

We don’t have the players for it.

Edit: Could also be called a 5-2-3, either way the point remains. If you want to play these formations you need strong wingbacks. Even if you say Perisic is strong, there is a massive imbalance and he’ll get stopped out as they dont need to worry much about the otherside. Today we started with both sides being weak

How can you hate a man who has given Spurs such great service for so many years? Yes, he is past his best, and he can't kick a ball for toffee, but he has one of the worst PL defences in front of him, who themselves are left exposed because of the mind numbingly boring and simplistic tactics employed. A new goalkeeper will not cure our current woes.
A quality keeper doesn’t make the consistent mistakes Lloris does. After the villa loss, there were facts posted about how he was top of the EPL for unforced errors leading to goals. And he’s gone and done it again. A new keeper can surely do better than this

How can Conte be blamed for a long range strike and Lloris gifting goals and momentum away time and time again? And if it's not Lloris, it's another member of our mid table level defence.

Arsenal‘s leadership have managed to turn their club around from being dreadful 18 months ago into potential title winners. 18 months. I’ve always defended Levy in the past, but my patience has finally run out. It doesn’t matter who manages the first team, they are consistently cut off at the knees by the ghost of the previous managers’ recruitment. Levy was the right guy to take us from lower/mid-table, but he’s not the guy who is gonna get the Club to a point where we regularly challenge for trophies and titles.

For us to take that final step is gonna take more money than ENIC and Levy will be prepared to spend. They may well have to ambition to try and do so, but I doubt they have the means or the constitutional backbone required.

I would love for us to have done things the proper way, but Newcastle are already over taking us. When Liverpool and Chelsea inevitably get their acts together then we’re gonna be 7th place at best.

We’ve become a cuckold of a club getting routinely held down and fucked in our own manor on live TV. It’s a fucking embarrassment.

I dont care about him being in the club for 10 years. He has been a great servant. But whats he ever done as a captain ? Only time I saw him riled up against his own team was against Sonny for a nothing issue.

Whats his contribution to club tottenham as captain ?
May be he is doing something in background, we fans arent aware of - but one things for sure, we are never winning a title or trophy with him as captain

I don't care that arsenal fans have bragging rights, or they may win the league

I care that for all the talk of an elite stadium, training ground and manager, we're as far away from winning as we've ever been

The worst thing is how apathetic i am. Changing the manager won't change the acceptance of relative mediocrity at the top when it comes to the football side.

Until that changes, we're destined to repeat the same cycles, and I'm not going to waste energy caring about what other teams are doing, because we are not serious about winning, so why care?

2 teams have scored more goals than Spurs this year.

Today sucked, and we were outclassed. But knee-jerk reactions are not how to move forward.
It really is hard to see what there is to "disagree" with here:

1. We are the 3rd highest scoring team in the league.

2. Today did suck.

3. We were outclassed.

4. Knee-jerk reactions are not the way to move forward.

He’s coached the joy out of football for them and us.

We lost the game in the place where a lot of us thought we would - midfield. I can’t understand playing 3 centre backs and letting them outnumber us in midfield, but there you go. Sessegnon got murdered by Saka, Hojbjerg had one of his worst game for us and it was generally shit. But like I said during the game, the worst thing wasn’t the shit we had to watch on the pitch but the absolute idiots that seem to surround you in the stadium now. As if it’s not bad enough watching us getting comprehensively outplayed, you have to do it to a backdrop of people slagging the players off and spouting their absolute bullshit all game. I’m not sure what keeps me going there anymore

Today didn't just "suck", it was the absolute embodiment of what is going on at our club at the moment, and the worst thing is we could all see it coming before the game even started.

Individual errors, poor tactics and lack of heart have cost us all season. The football is shit, the results are worse. I can't even be bothered to look back at the last 10-12 fixtures to see how many of those we have been 2-0 down in at some stage.

It's fucking embarrassing and something needs to change. If that's Conte then I'm OK with that, because as it is we're not getting any better before we get worse.

I don't have an issue with his attitude or leadership, more his ability. He's finished i'm afraid to say. There are just too many costly errors to give the already flaky defence any confidence, calmness or stability.

Well, Conte can be blamed for crap tactics, inflexibility, and inability to improve players through coaching...

The only problem I have with that is last season we got top 4 playing the same formation, but this season Dier and lloris and making massive blunders which they weren't last season.
Sonny was a much bigger difference between this season and last

MASSIVE difference - he’s such an important player for such an ordinary team. Has been for years. Him & Harry….

Teams have worked us out, you can get away with a certain style one season and get lucky, just look at Leicester winning the league and doing nothing since then.

What will it take for posters to realise that no manager will get a consistent tune out of Dier, Sanchez, Davies et al? And that's not taking into account Lloris' decline.
