Unfortunately the Goons will be seeded in the playoff if they finish 4th, so will likely get a Young Boys-type opponent like we did. City won't be seeded, so they can very feasibly be drawn against Bayern.

So, in a weird way, I'm hoping that City blow it on the final day so the Goons finish 3rd.

Yeah, but what is their record transfer fee paid?

Since spending £13m on Wiltord ten years ago, the most they've spent is about £16m on Nasri, £15m on Arshavin, £10m on Reyes, Koscielny & Vermaelen and £7m on Adebayor, so for them to break their transfer record wouldn't be a big surprise, considering the going rate for both quality players and promising youngsters recently.
