NLD - we should be self motivated regardless of form and who’s playing, raise our game and play at our max. Hopefully the home support will be at its best and push the team forward. I feel Arsenal will have the motivation for this. They have a great opportunity to confirm their title credentials and a rare opportunity to turn us over. Losing could dent their ego and hopefully confidence .

Result:draw for me, best we can hope. (They are s very good side).

end of day: only 3 points.

Tell that to some of our guys. To them is only another competitive game. This is what I am worrying.

I think the key issue with two in MF is who drops deep to pick up Odegaard who will drift into space and who presses Xhaka and Party. If both press Xhaha and Party it will leave Ofegaard free to roam. When we played them earlier in the season our mf pressed high up in the opening few minutes only for Odegaard to have all the freedom in the world to dictate play. we then dropped deep and we conceded possession to the other two. It’s a balancing act that can be helped if CCB steps out to support and close down but that’s not Conte’s way, so we need the other two CBs to close down as quick as possible while not leaving too much space out wide that isolates out wingbacks.
One thing I noticed in the previous match against them was when they were getting the ball out to their wide men, Odegaard quickly stepped across our two wide CBS to obstruct their ability to get across and support the wingbacks which left them overloaded.

Bissouma will get carded in the first 10 minutes and be useless, hope we don't start him. Far from ready yet.

Would like to applaud everybody who has said lets get behind the lads, the crowd atmosphere is important as we know, it would be wounding to let that lot hear us booing our own team, boo the board, Levy, Enic whatever but sing you're hearts out for the lads even if its tough at times.

No booing Sunday no matter what happens - that would be hugely embarrassing and the fuckers would love it

I'll be giving it the full-throated, overly self-aware, Dry January big'un. COYS

You're playing a local team that is top of the table. Most of our team has been here for years. We have multiple youth products in the team. I'm not concerned about our players understanding the moment.
